Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Chuck Liddle (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Baxter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Liddle comes to the cage accompanied by the theme. On his way into the cage it seems that Chuck Liddle has been attacked by a crazed fan! It looks like it might have been the just bleed guy! Luckily Chuck Liddle seems to be OK! I thought that lunatic was in prison!?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Chuck Liddle! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Teddy Baxter! The judges for this bout are Wesley Smith, Cecil Peabody and George Francis.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Baxter shoots in looking for a takedown. Liddle tries to sprawl out of it but Baxter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Liddle manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Baxter looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Baxter drops back looking for a leg! Liddle is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Liddle manages to kick Baxter off! Baxter jumps back into Liddle's guard. Liddle looking for a sweep. Not yet Liddle, not yet. Liddle is looking to stand up but Baxter isn't so interested in that idea. Baxter preventing the sweep. Baxter trying to control but Liddle is working from the bottom. Baxter gets to his feet - Liddle follows without any prompting. Liddle is breathing heavily. Danga de danga de dang - Liddle scores with a four punch combination! Liddle stuns Baxter with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Liddle misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Baxter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Liddle but Liddle pushes him off and we're back to square one. Chuck Liddle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Teddy Baxter. Baxter avoids the head kick by Liddle.
That's one minute gone in the round. Liddle swats away the attempt to clinch by Baxter. Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Liddle misses with a few strikes there.

Hopefully he's not broken his hand. Liddle tries to free his leg and advance position but Baxter is retaining full guard. Liddle wants to stand and escape but instead Baxter has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Baxter won't allow Liddle to sweep him here. Liddle knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Baxter on the ground. Baxter tries to free his leg and advance position but Liddle is retaining full guard.
Neither fighter is doing enough for the referee's liking and he's decided to stand them back up. Liddle misses with a two punch combination.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Liddle!
Liddle closes the distance and lands a one-two.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Liddle has closed the distance and engaged Baxter in a clinch.
Liddle wants to break the clinch but can't.
Liddle throws a blind hook that connects with the side of Baxters head. Baxter prevents Liddle from breaking the clinch. Liddle wants to break the clinch but can't.
Liddle lands with a good tight uppercut to the head. with the fighters clinched against the cage, Liddle creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. Liddle throws a right and a left that Baxter avoids nicely. Liddle swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Liddle scores a takedown into full mount! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The referee warns Baxter that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.

Liddle unloading with bombs! Liddle breaks from Baxter's wrist control and lands an elbow. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Liddle prevents Baxter from getting the reversal. The referee warns Baxter that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Baxter is desperately trying to improve his position but Liddle has a good base and remains in mount. Liddle with good strikes from the mount here! Baxter is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Liddle postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Baxter looks a forlorn figure.
Baxter wants to control but Liddle is having none of it. Liddle putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Liddle landing strikes from the mount and Baxter is in trouble! Baxter is trying desperately to improve position. Baxter manages to regain half guard. Good work. Baxter moves into full guard.

That's four minutes gone in the round. Liddle lands a couple of elbows. Liddle keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Baxter's head. Liddle stopping the sweep attempt from Baxter. Liddle wants to stand but Baxter is controlling his posture from full guard. Baxter is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Baxter is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. Baxter landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Baxter working Liddle over with strikes. Baxter gets to his feet - back to striking we go! The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Baxter fails with the takedown and Liddle counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Liddle. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Baxter manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Liddle manages to get himself to full guard.

Baxter bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Baxter trying to control the position but Liddle is working away. Baxter has knee on belly and now moves to full mount! Trouble for Liddle! Baxter can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Liddle is looking to escape. Liddle on his back here. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Liddle tries to get out of the position. Baxter seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but Liddle is holding on tight.

Liddle is refusing to be controlled, as Baxter sits in half guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Baxter stands up from half guard. Baxter looks for a takedown but Liddle sprawls well.

Liddle waving his hands out infront of him, looking to distract Baxter. Baxter changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Liddle tries to avoid it but Baxter manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Liddle to the ground. Liddle escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Chuck Liddle has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Teddy Baxter. Baxter throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Liddle's waist but Liddle gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Baxter off to one side. Liddle lands three nice shots there - that looked like it hurt!
Nice takedown defense from Liddle. No joy for Baxter on that attempt. Baxter shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Liddle but Liddle pushes him off and we're back to square one. That's two minutes gone in the round. Baxter uses his free foot to push down on Liddle's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Liddle. Baxter trying to control but he's not successful this time. Baxter looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Liddle is looking to get to half guard. Baxter is standing up out of mount! Strange tactic there - he must really want this one on the feet! Liddle has taken the fight to the clinch.

Liddle knows the correct defense though, so he's OK. Liddle tries to bench press Baxter off him but Baxter keeps the position. Baxter lands a few punches from side control. Baxter wants to stand up but Liddle has a hold of him and won't allow it. The referee walks around the fighters to get a better view of the action. Baxter lands a nice short elbow. Baxter passes to full mount! Liddle is squirming around, avoiding Baxter's attempts to control the action. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Baxter looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet. Baxter tries to control but Liddle wriggling away. Teddy Baxter showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Liddle's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. This is the final round!
Liddle shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Baxter regains half guard. Baxter regains full guard, whilst avoiding punches from Liddle. Teddy Baxter has got the better of the ground game so far. Baxter throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Liddle would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Baxter wants to sweep but no luck. Liddle wants to stand and escape but instead Baxter has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Baxter trying to control but Liddle is working from the bottom.
