Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Ryan Potter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Augusto Soto (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Potter comes to the cage accompanied by Super Sharp Shooter - The Ganja Kru . There are an array of beautiful celebrities at ringside tonight! I wonder if any of them paid for their tickets.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ryan Potter! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Augusto Soto! The judges for this bout are Paul Tew, Daniel Bishop and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Potter has his takedown stuffed and Soto makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Soto swings for the body but Potter moves out of range.
A nice leg kick lands there from Soto. A nice inside leg kick there by Soto. That's going to slow Potter down. Potter fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Soto to the ground. Potter is now in Soto's guard. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Soto looking to hit a scissor sweep but Potter is one step ahead there. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Soto working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Potter. Potter trying to control but Soto is working from the bottom. Soto has Potter pulled in close to control his posture.
That's one minute gone in the round. Soto looking to hit a scissor sweep but Potter is one step ahead there. Potter drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Soto dives on top into guard. Potter is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Soto is aware though and is defending well. Potter bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Soto's guard. Potter trying to control but Soto is working from the bottom. Soto is looking to stand up but Potter isn't so interested in that idea. Soto has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Potter has passed into side control.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Soto struggling a bit here. This fight is sponsored by Chainsaw 7. More blood and guts and stuff like that, in cinemas everywhere now! Potter tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Potter thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Potter is trying to get an arm triangle but Soto is defending well. Soto is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Potter's leg. He's managed it. Nice work. Potter seems to be looking for submissions.
Soto has his hands clasped together around Potter's back. He's all about the action. Potter thows a huge punch but Soto dodges it nicely.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fighters are battling for position here. Soto manages to regain full guard. Nice work. Potter trying to control but Soto is working from the bottom. Soto seems keen to control Potter's posture. Soto looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Potter postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Soto is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Potter, into his guard. Potter looking for a guillotine here but Soto defends easily.

A close round but Augusto Soto will probably get the nod. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Potter is trying hard to land a takedown here. Soto sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Soto throws the kick towards the body but Potter avoids it. Soto misses with a low kick. Soto misses with a head kick.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Potter misses with a takedown and Soto counters with a body kick that stops Potter in his tracks momentarily. Soto misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.

That's one minute gone in the round. Potter doesn't succeed with the takedown and Soto counters with a straight right hand. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ryan Potter. That's going to take a lot out of him. Potter misses with a takedown attempt and Soto counters with a left to the body. Good standup being displayed there by Soto as he connects with a hook. Soto throws a hook but Potter blocks it. Potter takes a kick to the side of the head. Potter closes the distance and clinches up with Soto, looking for a takedown. Potter pushes Soto against the cage but Soto circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. A chopping leg kick lands by Soto. Potter with a poor takedown and Soto counters with a good low kick that Potter was not able to check. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Soto cracks Potter with a good jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Potter gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Soto counters with a slapping leg kick. Soto buckles his opponent's knee momentarily with a nice leg kick.
Soto works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance. That kick from Soto tenderised Potter's leg. Potter is trying to keep his angry face on. Soto throws a nice outside leg kick. Soto throws a front kick that sends Potter stumbling back into the cage. Soto lands a nice shot that snaps Potter's head back.
Soto throws a quick inside leg kick. Soto connects with a leg kick. Potter looked like he was expecting something else and didn't defend it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Potter chopped to the floor by a nice leg kick but he springs right back up before Soto can pounce on him.
Soto lands a big head kick that sends Potter tumbling to the mat! Soto takes a step backwards and waves Potter back to his feet - he wants the finish!
Potter is rocked!
It looks like Ryan Potter has been cut. Soto ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Potter out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 3:22 of round 2, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Augusto Soto! Augusto Soto is the new middleweight champion!
