Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Vitali Blok (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and David Meadows (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The key to victory for Vitali Blok has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Vitali Blok! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, David Meadows! The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Paul Tew and Andrew Berry.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Meadows has taken the fight to the clinch.
Meadows is trying to trip Blok. He has hold of a leg but Blok is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Meadows persists though and gets the takedown into guard. Blok is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Meadows is aware though and is defending well. Meadows trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Blok has his foot on Meadows's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Meadows works his way back into a safe position though. Blok is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Meadows is aware though and is defending well. Meadows is stalling in the full guard. Meadows trying to control but Blok is working from the bottom. Meadows passes into half guard. Blok looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Meadows seems to be looking for submissions.

Meadows is trying to control. Blok wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Meadows stops Blok from getting back to his feet.

Meadows escapes and gets back to his feet. Meadows shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Meadows shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away. Meadows is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Blok to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Blok shrugs it off.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Meadows wants to control the pace but Blok is squirming around nicely.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Meadows is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Blok can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Meadows with some aggressive grappling here. He's looking for submissions here, rather than waiting for the opportunity to counter.
Meadows controlling from the full mount. Meadows landing strikes from the mount. Meadows stands up from the dominant position, so we're back on the feet.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Blok swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Meadows fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Blok avoids it really well and circles away. Nice sprawl there from Blok as Meadows shoots in. Vitali Blok has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of David Meadows. Meadows shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Blok as he jumps to the side. Blok connects with a good right hand that stumbles Meadows. Meadows circles away out of range and recomposes himself. Meadows looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. Meadows looks gassed! Nice takedown defense from Meadows. No joy for Blok on that attempt. Meadows shoots in looking for a takedown but Blok manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Meadows's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Meadows looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Blok is fending him off so far but Meadows persists. Nope, Blok circles away and we're back to standing.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Blok tests Meadows's chin there with a solid looking shot. Blok displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Meadows. Meadows throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Blok's waist but Blok gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Meadows off to one side. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Meadows keeps the fight on the outside. A combination from Blok does no damage. Blok throws a series of punches but Meadows moves out of range. David Meadows seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Blok leaves Meadows with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Blok's jab looks to have found its range, popping Meadows under the eye. Meadows avoids a punch combination nicely.

David Meadows dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Blok fails in his attempt to clinch. Blok swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.
Vitali Blok is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Meadows darts in and lands a nice takedown into half guard. Blok looking to work for a kimura from the bottom. Meadows is looking for a kimura here.

Meadows is trying to control. Blok wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ground and pound from Meadows. Blok looking for submissions off his back. Meadows slips a nice elbow through Blok's hands, connecting with Blok's forehead. Blok tries to kick Meadows off but Meadows keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Meadows trying to control the action but Blok is working from the bottom. Blok is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Meadows pulls his head out easily. Blok is refusing to be controlled, as Meadows sits in half guard. Meadows lands a big shot. The thud that echoes around the arena is like music to the fans' ears. Meadows decides to return to a standing position. Meadows throws a nice inside leg kick. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Meadows shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Meadows was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure! David Meadows has got the better of the ground game so far. Meadows with good strikes from the mount here! Meadows has hold of an arm here, looking to extend it. He's committed to the armbar attempt here! Will he get it?! Yes! Blok is forced to tap!
