Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between James Mullberry (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jared Walken (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mullberry might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Top Gun Anthem. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, James Mullberry! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
5 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Jared Walken! The judges for this bout are James Ackerman, James Atkins and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Walken changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Mullberry tries to avoid it but Walken manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Mullberry to the ground. Mullberry escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Mullberry swings for the body but Walken moves out of range.
Mullberry ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Walken moves away. Mullberry throws a body punch but Walken moves out of range. Walken shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Mullberry as he avoids it easily. Mullberry misses the shot to the body. Mullberry tests Walken's chin there with a solid looking shot. Walken looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Mullberry is fending him off so far but Walken persists. Nope, Mullberry circles away and we're back to standing. James Mullberry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Jared Walken. Mullberry misses the shot to the body. Mullberry fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done.
That's one minute gone in the round. Walken shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Mullberry sprawls well. Mullberry wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Walken gets slowly back to his feet. Walken shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Mullberry but Mullberry pushes him off and we're back to square one. Walken steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Mullberry. Mullberry misses with a lunging right hand
and Walken counters with a nice uppercut. Mullberry slaps away a takedown attempt from Walken, before circling back to the center of the mat. Mullberry is looking to wear down Walken with body shots, infact he's throwing more body shots than head shots at the moment. Walken will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Walken closes this distance looking for a takedown but Mullberry circles away. Walken avoids the body shot from Mullberry.
Walken moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Walken shoots in looking for a takedown but Mullberry manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Walken's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Mullberry connects with a body shot. Walken looks gassed! Walken with a lazy takedown attempt and Mullberry connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Mullberry lands a pitter patter jab to the forehead of his opponent. Mullberry with a jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Walken shoots in for a takedown but Mullberry shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Walken on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Mullberry lands a nice shot to the body.
Walken takes a solid shot to the body. That one hurt him but he's trying not to show it. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Mullberry bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Walken's head. Mullberry comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range. Mullberry throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Mullberry misses the shot to the body. Mullberry is using his height advantage well here, landing a good percentage of his punches. Walken shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Mullberry pinned against the cage. Mullberry gets the underhooks and manages to circle away.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Mullberry swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Walken. Mullberry cracks Walken with a big right hand that sees him stumbling back against the cage! Walken falls to his knees and Mullberry doesn't need a second invitatation - he rushes in and fires off several unanswered shots that force the referee to stop the fight! This one is all over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:31 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). James Mullberry!
