Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Artem Blinov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alexandr Holmogorov (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Vladimir Khabensky.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
No joy there for Blinov, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Holmogorov.
Holmogorov pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Holmogorov throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Blinov's waist but Blinov gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Holmogorov off to one side.
Horrible takedown by Holmogorov or perhaps it was just good defense by Blinov which made him look bad.
Artem Blinov has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Alexandr Holmogorov.
Holmogorov tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Holmogorov clinches with his opponent.
Holmogorov pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Blinov shoots for a takedown but Holmogorov saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
Blinov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Holmogorov was covering up waiting for the punch and Blinov finishes the takedown easily into guard.
The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up.
Holmogorov looking for submissions from the bottom but instead Blinov passes into half guard.

Blinov is trying to control. Holmogorov wants to improve his position but can't escape this time.

Holmogorov tries to get to full guard but Blinov has control of the leg.

Blinov is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

Blinov stands up from mount. Strange move.
Blinov shoots in but Holmogorov avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Sloppy strikes from Blinov. Those never looked like landing.
Holmogorov tries for a takedown but Blinov sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.
Holmogorov is looking to clinch.
Holmogorov clinches up against the cage.

Holmogorov escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Blinov misses with a takedown attempt - Holmogorov sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.
Blinov takes the fight into the clinch.
Blinov fails to pull guard.
Holmogorov drops to a knee looking for a takedown but Blinov gets the underhooks and prevents it.
Blinov is looking to break free of the clinch but Holmogorov has double underhooks.
Holmogorov breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Blinov tries to clinch up but Holmogorov circles away and keeps his distance.
Blinov misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Blinov displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Holmogorov throws out the jab.

Blinov pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Blinov gets a takedown into half guard.
Blinov seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Ground and pound from Blinov.
Blinov is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Holmogorov!
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Holmogorov is looking to get to half guard.
Blinov moves to take his opponent's back.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That's time! Blinov's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Blinov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Blinov throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Holmogorov was covering up waiting for the punch and Blinov finishes the takedown easily into guard.
Blinov gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Holmogorov fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Blinov, pushing him back against the cage.
Holmogorov goes for a takedown attempt but Blinov pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.
Holmogorov dives in and grabs Blinov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Blinov pushes down on Holmogorov's head and hops out.
Blinov throws a wild combination but nothing lands.
Holmogorov is breathing heavily.
Holmogorov leaves Blinov with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Blinov gets a double leg takedown into Holmogorov's guard.
Blinov postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Blinov stands and steps away. Holmogorov gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game.
Holmogorov gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Blinov to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Blinov gets to his feet. Holmogorov looking to butt scoot but the ref puts an end to that. On your feet son!
No luck for Blinov with that takedown attempt.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Holmogorov displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Blinov.

Blinov tries to score with a low kick but Holmogorov moves his leg out of the way.

and Holmogorov counters with a head kick. That will keep Blinov thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks!
Blinov closes this distance looking for a takedown but Holmogorov circles away.
