Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Mister Vengeance (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Plutonio Napalm (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Vengeance kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Melt-Banana - Shield For Your Eyes, A Beast in the Well on Your Hand. Plutonio Napalm is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the bantamweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
4 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Mister Vengeance! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 14 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Plutonio Napalm! The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Daniel Cesar and Mauricio Rocha.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Vengeance wants to clinch up but Napalm keeps it at a distance. Vengeance closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Vengeance has Napalm pressed against the cage.
Napalm has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Vengeance is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Vengeance throws an elbow that misses.
Napalm is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Vengeance gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Vengeance unloads a knee to the mid-section. Napalm lets out a prehistoric sounding urrrrgh. Vengeance throws a knee to the head but misses.

Vengeance throws an elbow but it's blocked.
Vengeance creates a bit of distance and throws an elbow that only just misses. Vengeance creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Napalm's defenses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Napalm takes an elbow to the forehead. Napalm is looking for a takedown up against the cage. Vengeance gets underhooks though and prevents the takedown attempt. Mister Vengeance has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Plutonio Napalm. Vengeance leaning his opponent against the cage. Napalm has Vengeance pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Napalm pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Vengeance tumbling to the mat - Napalm dives into Vengeance's guard. Vengeance is looking for a triangle but Napalm pushes his legs off easily.

Napalm drops back, looking for a kneebar! Vengeance looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Vengeance looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Vengeance!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Vengeance is looking to take a break and control but Napalm is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Vengeance wants to stand but Napalm is controlling his arm. Napalm manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Napalm looking for submissions off his back. Napalm actively working from the bottom here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Napalm keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Vengeance looking to pass the half guard. Not this time. Vengeance knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Napalm on the ground.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Vengeance missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Vengeance is looking to take a break and control but Napalm is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom. Vengeance trying to mount his opponent but Napalm defends it. Vengeance wants to take a breather but Napalm is having none of it. Napalm slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Vengeance stays in close to Napalm's body and controls the position. Vengeance trying to control but Napalm is working from the bottom.
Mister Vengeance has forced the referee to step in and bring the fight back to the feet. Napalm gets the takedown into side control. Napalm tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Napalm has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought!
That's four minutes gone in the round. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Napalm thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. Napalm working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Vengeance is looking to reverse the position. Napalm has hold of Vengeance's arm here. He's working for an Americana. It looks like he might have it! Vengeance tries to escape but he's just digging himself in deeper - Napalm cranks the arm and Vengeance screams in pain! The ref makes a decision and ends the fight before the tap - no complains from Vengeance, who is just happy to have his arm attached to his body.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Plutonio Napalm! Plutonio Napalm is the new bantamweight champion!
