PBP Commentary

Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Pitt Bull (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Tony Wilbon (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Pitt Bull had real problems making weight for this fight. After initially coming in at 136.8lbs, he had two hours to make the official fight weight. He made it but it will have taken a lot out of him to cut those extra few pounds. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bull tries to bum rush Wilbon with a series of wild strikes but Wilbon uses good footwork to avoid the assault.
Wilbon closes the distance but Bull moves to the side
and Bull counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Wilbon walks into a straight right hand from Bull.

Bull gets tackled into the cage by Wilbon. Wilbon maintains the clinch.
Bull wants to strike at distance but he can't break free of the clinch.
Bull gets underhooks to prevent Wilbon's takedown attempt.
Wilbon prevents Bull from breaking the clinch.
Bull wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.
Wilbon is working for a takedown up against the cage. He can't get it on this occasion though.

Bull throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wilbon stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.
Wilbon shoots in and drives through. Bull sprawls well.

Bull gets caught flat footed, as Wilbon shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.
Wilbon advances to half guard.

Wilbon is keen to just control but Bull is a slippery customer.

Wilbon is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Bull is just riding it out for now. Wilbon eventually gives up the hold.

The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Wilbon is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Bull can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

I would just about give that final round to Tony Wilbon.
