Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Hanibal Belic (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and John Babtist (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, John Babtist! The judges for this bout are William Gold, Colin Fotheringham and James Atkins.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Belic gets a takedown into half guard. Babtist blocking the ground and pound attempt from Belic. Babtist is looking for a sweep. Belic is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Belic is thwarting Babtist's attempts to control the position. Belic throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Babtist really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Belic. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Ground and pound from Belic. Babtist trying to control but Belic postures up.
Babtist is looking to improve his position.
Belic is nestled in close to Babtist, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Babtist is trying to stand back up but Belic is controlling him
Belic working Babtist over with strikes. Babtist is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Belic takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Babtist has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Belic is working away from the top position though.
That's one minute gone in the round. Nice strikes from Belic there. Belic looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Babtist with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Still in half guard, Belic seems content to control. Belic working the head and body with strikes. Belic landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Belic is figuring out what he wants to do next. Babtist is staying active underneath Belic, who seems content to just control the action from this position. Belic takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Belic connects with a nice short shot to Babtist's temple. Belic is scoring with some nice ground and pound from the dominant position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Belic content to control rather than advance. Belic passes to side control. You can see the frustration on Babtist's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Babtist tries to buck Belic off but Belic is having none of it. Babtist looks gassed! Babtist on the wrong end of some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Belic moves into full mount! Belic lands a big elbow.
It looks like John Babtist has been cut. Babtist throwing punches from his back but nothing is landing. Belic with a couple of short strikes. Belic dominating with strikes here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Babtist in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head.
Babtist is rocked! A big strike lands for Belic! That's really hurt Babtist and he's turned his back - Belic keeps firing away and the ref dives in to stop the fight! Belic jumps to his feet to celebrate the victory!
