Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
18 - 5 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, David Norris! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jimmy Snuka! The judges for this bout are Timothy Bukovac, and Frank Antenori.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Snuka misses with a right hand and Norris counters with a head kick. That will keep Snuka thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Snuka fails with the takedown and Norris counters with a good, hard body kick but Snuka shrugs it off. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Snuka drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles.
It looks like Jimmy Snuka has been cut. Norris thuds his right hand into Snuka's forehead from close range. That could be painful for both fighters.
Snuka is rocked! Norris sees an opening and throws a straight punch right through Snuka's defenses. It connects perfectly with Snuka's jaw and knocks him out cold! Wow - that's a contender for knockout of the year - absolutely brutal!
