Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Francis Escudero (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Alonzo Griffin (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Escudero comes to the cage accompanied by It's A Fight - Three 6 Mafia. Griffin has chosen New York as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Griffin lands a really nice looking cross but Escudero seems unphased.
Escudero throws a hook but Griffin avoids it easily.
Escudero fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Griffin manages to avoid it.
Griffin moves out of range of the strikes.
Griffin lands a nice shot to the body.
Escudero looks to score with a jab to the body but Griffin is just out of range.
Griffin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Griffin scores with a nice hook to the head.
Griffin blocks a body shot from Escudero.
Escudero's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button!
Escudero is rocked!
Griffin lands a body punch in the clinch.
Oh Escudero is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Griffin breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Griffin ducks down and throws a big overhand right - it lands flush on the jaw, knocking Escudero out cold! The fight is over!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Alonzo Griffin!
