And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Maksim Romanov!
The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Cecil Peabody and Tiny Johnson.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Hiralal throws a sloppy head kick and Romanov moves out of range easily.

Romanov closes the distance and clinches.

Romanov lands a nice trip takedown into half guard.
Hiralal wants to get back to full guard.
Hiralal is working hard here to advance position.

Hiralal is looking to sinch up a gullotine here but Romanov pulls his head out easily.
The referee calls for the fighters to work.
Hiralal is pressing down on Romanov's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.

Hiralal has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Romanov can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself.
Romanov really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Hiralal. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.
Hiralal being controlled here, momentarily.

Romanov wants to control from the top but Hiralal keeps moving.
Romanov wanted to stand there but Hiralal had control of the position.
Romanov is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control.

Hiralal pushes a forearm under Romanov's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Romanov is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
