The judges for this bout are Robert Twigg, Alan Glass and Chris Downing.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Edwards wants to clinch up but Nueve keeps it at a distance.
Nueve swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Edwards drives through with a takedown into Nueve's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position.
Nueve has butterfly guard. He's looking to stand up here. He pushes Edwards off him and springs to his feet nicely. The crowd applauds.

Edwards is working to avoid the ground and pound but Nueve connects with a decent elbow.

Nueve bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Edwards's guard.
Edwards is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Nueve is aware though and is defending well.
