Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Diego Sanchez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Nate Borgstein (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sanchez's entrance music is D-Generation X. A fine choice. Borgstein has chosen Megadeth - Headcrusher as his entrance music. Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the ring.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
2 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Diego Sanchez!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 4 - 0, fighting out of Tokyo, Nate Borgstein!
The judges for this bout are Shigeki Sano, Yukihiro Shimada and Shigeki Fujiwara.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sanchez has his takedown stuffed
and Borgstein moves into the clinch.
Borgstein lands with a good tight uppercut to the head.
Borgstein lands a nice elbow.
It looks like Diego Sanchez has been cut.
Borgstein stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body.
Borgstein breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
Sanchez changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Borgstein looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.
If this pace continues, the referee will definitely step in and force a standup.
Sanchez lands a knee to the body and follows it up with some ground and pound to the head. That will wear Borgstein down.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Sanchez throwing strikes but Borgstein manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
Borgstein tries to get to his feet but he's trapped momentarily.
Borgstein decides to stand back up. Borgstein steps back and let's Sanchez get back to his feet.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Borgstein feints and then cracks Sanchez's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Sanchez down.
Sanchez is breathing heavily.
Borgstein has managed to clinch.
Borgstein lands a right hand.
Sanchez is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Borgstein pulls him back up using the underhooks.
Borgstein lands a body shot.
Borgstein landing some nice looking knees to the body.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Borgstein pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
Sanchez finds himself stumbling back on wobbly legs after being clipped by a right hand. He's up against the ropes, ducking and weaving under Borgstein's strikes but an uppercut finds it's way through and Sanchez falls! - He's completely out of it and the ref jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Nate Borgstein!
