Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

The judges for this bout are Aleksandr Martynov, Konstantin Menshow and Illya Tyunina.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zidonov throws a loose over hand right and dives in with a double leg takedown. Andri tries to sprawl but it's too late and the fighters hit the mat. Zidonov is in Andri's guard.
Andri is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
Zidonov not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up.
Zidonov passes into half guard.

Zidonov is thinking about going for an arm triangle but he can't free his leg.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Andri is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Zidonov scores with a couple of nice shots.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Zidonov has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent.
