The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Phony misses with a telegraphed body shot
and Azazel holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch.
Azazel blocks a knee to the body. He'll have a nicely bruised forearm in the morning.
Azazel is trying to trip Phony. He has hold of a leg but Phony is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Azazel persists though and gets the takedown into guard.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

Azazel shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Phony sprawls well. Phony wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Azazel gets slowly back to his feet.

Azazel has picked Phony up - he's going for a ride! Azazel dumps his opponent to the mat with a thud and settles into half guard.
Azazel maintaining the dominant position here and is working for a kimura. He's locked it up! Phony could be in real trouble here! He's trying to wriggle out but Azazel has cracked it and Phony is screaming in pain - he's tapped out! Great finish by Azazel!
