Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the super heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 8 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Semki Est!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Floyd Eaglefeathers!
The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Viktor Lagutenko and Fedor Mirinova.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Eaglefeathers misses with a takedown attempt - Est sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses.

Eaglefeathers shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Est sprawls well. Est wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Eaglefeathers gets slowly back to his feet.
Est tries to clinch there but Eaglefeathers circles away.
Est dives in and grabs Eaglefeathers's left leg, looking for a takedown. Eaglefeathers pushes down on Est's head and hops out.
Eaglefeathers fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.

and Est counters by clinching up.
Eaglefeathers wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Eaglefeathers is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage.

Eaglefeathers manages to break the clinch.
Est fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Eaglefeathers avoids it really well and circles away.
Est fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Semki Est. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Eaglefeathers shoots in and drives through. Est sprawls well.

Est closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Est lands in his opponent's guard.
Est is looking to stand up but Eaglefeathers won't let him.

Est wants to control from the top but Eaglefeathers keeps moving.
Eaglefeathers is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Eaglefeathers can do anything to dispel that myth.
Eaglefeathers has Est pulled in close to control his posture.

OK we're going to have a standup here. Floyd Eaglefeathers hasn't been effective enough on the ground and the referee wants a restart.

Eaglefeathers shoots in and gets a takedown into half guard. Eaglefeathers showed some decent athleticism there.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Eaglefeathers lands strikes from half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

That's three minutes gone in the round.
Eaglefeathers keeping composed on the top, looking to control the action.
Both fighters really going for it on the ground here!
Eaglefeathers trying to control from half guard but Est is working away.

Eaglefeathers is looking for a kimura but Est is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Eaglefeathers to get the leverage.
Est is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Eaglefeathers's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Eaglefeathers's back!

Est wants to control but Eaglefeathers manages to buck him off and is now in Est's guard! Nice work there by Eaglefeathers!
There's a bit of a scramble here and now Est is on top in guard.
Est trying to control the position from guard on top but Eaglefeathers is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Est trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Est will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Eaglefeathers not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Est stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Eaglefeathers swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Eaglefeathers wants to sweep here but Est controlling him for the moment.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

That was a close round but I would say that Semki Est will probably get the nod.
OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.


Eaglefeathers misses with a wild combination.
Est tries to clinch up but Eaglefeathers circles away and keeps his distance.

Eaglefeathers shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Est manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Eaglefeathers pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Est is keeping the position for now.

Est has his foot on Eaglefeathers's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Eaglefeathers works his way back into a safe position though.
Semki Est overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Est looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Eaglefeathers wants to control from the top but Est keeps moving.
Eaglefeathers must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.

Est escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Eaglefeathers gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Eaglefeathers trying to control but Est is working from the bottom.

Eaglefeathers looking to pass the guard.
Eaglefeathersis looking to pass into half guard but Est pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Est is in guard.
Est is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long.
Est looking to sit in guard and control but Eaglefeathers gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Est looking to try and escape his hips here, looking for a submission. It looks like he's going for a triangle but Eaglefeathers is defending well. Est quickly switches to an armbar and extends the arm! Eaglefeathers has no choice but to tap, to a very quick submission! Wow, that was lightning fast! Est celebrates on the cage, with the crowd.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:04 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Armbar). Semki Est!
