Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Joca Mamute (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Maksim Anufriev (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Mamute might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Undead. Joca Mamute has a significant reach advantage - let's see if he can make it count.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
7 - 3 - 1, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Joca Mamute! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Maksim Anufriev! The judges for this bout are Luis Engracia, Mauricio Rocha and Edson Gomes.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Anufriev fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Mamute avoids it really well and circles away. Left hook, right uppercut from Mamute.
It looks like Maksim Anufriev has been cut. Anufriev uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Mamute.
Mamute moves into the clinch. Mamute goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Mamute breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Mamute swings for the body but Anufriev moves out of range.
Anufriev on the wrong end of a vicious looking body shot. Joca Mamute seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Mamute lands a body shot.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Anufriev shoots in but no luck this time. Anufriev shoots in and gets a takedown into Mamute's guard. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Anufriev drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Anufriev jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Anufriev is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Mamute is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Mamute has escaped and now he's on top!
That's one minute gone in the round. Anufriev preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Mamute has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player. Anufriev throwing his legs up looking for a triangle.
Mamute engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Mamute in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Mamute would like to get this fight back to the feet but can't get free from the closed guard. Anufriev has managed to work for a loose triangle. I think Mamute should be able to defend this one pretty easily though. Oh, Anufriev has tightened it up now! Mamute should have reacted faster there - he's in big trouble and yes, he's tapped out! This one is all over!
