The judges for this bout are Joseph Jones, Reed Andrews and Alyssa Summers.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Teixeira swinging wildly here.
Hill takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Teixeira throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
Hill gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.
Hill fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Teixeira looks to score with a jab to the body but Hill is just out of range.
Hill shoots in but Teixeira avoids the takedown attempt easily.
Hill uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Teixeira.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Teixeira tests Hill's chin there with a solid looking shot.
A shot to the body from Teixeira misses
and Hill counters with a straight right hand.
Teixeira paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button.
Hill is rocked!
Hill circles to his right, straight into a beautiful hook by Teixeira. Hill falls face first into the canvas - great knockout victory for Teixeira!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Richard Teixeira!
