Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Dave Carpio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Michael Patton (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Carpio might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Manic Hispanic. Patton has chosen Faith No More - Surprise You're Dead as his entrance music. Dave Carpio has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carpio bobbing and weaving, closes the distance and lands a hook to the side of Patton's head.
Carpio throws a low kick but his opponent is out of range.
Patton lands with a thumping leg kick.
Carpio misses with a body kick.
Carpio fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Carpio tries a head kick but it misses.

Patton is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Carpio rather than just go for the knockout.
Carpio shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace.

That was a close round but I would say that Dave Carpio will probably get the nod.
The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!

Carpio does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
