The judges for this bout are Edson Gomes, Felipe Paraventi and Emerson Jorge.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Laranja scores with a head kick.
It looks like Cottontail Rabbit has been cut.
Rabbit gets caught napping as Laranja dives in and scores a takedown. Rabbit manages to retain guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Rabbit can't keep his opponent in guard - Laranja advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount.
Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Laranja in particular looking to stall.
Laranja decides to stand up and try his luck on the feet.
Laranja has managed to clinch.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Laranja stalling against the cage.
Laranja has Rabbit pressed up against the cage. He's trying to work for a single leg takedown. Laranja pulls back from the cage and twists to the side, sending Rabbit tumbling to the mat - Laranja dives into Rabbit's guard.
Rabbit preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage.
Laranja is a very stocky fighter. Infact he's such a weird shape that he's almost like some sort of comedy character - it's hard to believe he's real.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Laranja drops back looking for a submission - "I'm sorry sir, but I'm gunna break your leg" says Laranja as he cranks on the unfortunate limb! Rabbit screams and taps out before any major damage is done! Don't mess with Laranja! Nice submission victory there!
