Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Radik Iboyan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Paije Cooper (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the welterweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Radik Iboyan! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Paije Cooper! The judges for this bout are Dmitry Maklakov, Ivan Kurochkin and Konstantin Menshow.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Cooper goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. Cooper fails to land the takedown. Cooper shoots in looking for a takedown. Iboyan tries to sprawl out of it but Cooper keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Iboyan manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Iboyan shoots in for a takedown. He's persisting with it as Cooper sprawls well. Cooper wins this battle and keeps the fight standing. Iboyan gets slowly back to his feet. Iboyan throws a leg kick but Cooper sees it coming and moves out of range. A head kick misses from Cooper. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Iboyan. Cooper shoots in and bounces Iboyan off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Iboyan keeping full guard, as Cooper tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cooper got a little sloppy there for a moment and Iboyan has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Cooper has managed to get both his arms back between Iboyan's legs - danger averted. Cooper stands and steps away. Iboyan gets to his feet too and we're back to the striking game. Iboyan tries to clinch but fails miserably and Cooper counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Cooper. Cooper looking to sit in guard and control but Iboyan gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top. Iboyan looking to control the position here, rather than advance.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Cooper is doing well to control the posture of his opponent and prevent any damage. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Cooper wriggles free and stands up. Cooper fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Radik Iboyan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Paije Cooper. Iboyan scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Iboyan working away. Cooper looks gassed! Iboyan trying to control the action but Cooper is working from the bottom.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Cooper explodes and escapes back to his feet! Nice escape there! Iboyan tries to clinch there but Cooper circles away.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Cooper is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. We must be close to a standup if these guys don't pick up the pace. Iboyan manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Paije Cooper dominated that round. That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.
Iboyan has a takedown stuffed. Iboyan closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard. Cooper wants to control but Iboyan is keeping busy.
Cooper looking for submissions off his back. Cooper moves his hips nicely and gets into full guard. Cooper is looking for a triangle but Iboyan pushes his legs off easily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cooper is adopting a defensive guard. Iboyan throwing strikes from guard but Cooper blocks nicely. Cooper seems keen to control Iboyan's posture. Cooper is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Iboyan wants to pass the guard but Cooper is keeping the position. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Cooper can do anything to dispel that myth. We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon. Cooper wants to stand but Iboyan is controlling the position. Iboyan trying to control the position from guard on top but Cooper is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Cooper changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Iboyan tries to avoid it but Cooper manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Iboyan to the ground. Iboyan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Cooper is breathing heavily. Cooper clinches up with Iboyan and pushes him back against the cage.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Iboyan with the Thai clinch. He's looking to land a big knee but he's not managed it this time.

Iboyan wants a takedown but no success here.
Cooper ties up his opponent against the cage and manages to drag the fight down to the ground. Cooper no doubt will be looking to work submissions from his guard. Cooper avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Cooper preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Cooper is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Iboyan is aware though and is defending well. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Cooper has control of Iboyan's left arm, preventing Iboyan from doing any damage. Iboyan stops Cooper from standing up.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cooper is working an open guard so Iboyan takes the opportunity to get back to his feet. Iboyan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Radik Iboyan. That's going to take a lot out of him. Iboyan moves into the clinch. Cooper's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Iboyan pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Iboyan doesn't manage to clinch there - Cooper circles away.
Iboyan fails miserably with a takedown attempt. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Iboyan keeps the fight on the outside. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Iboyan fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Radik Iboyan will probably get the nod. That's time! Iboyan's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. So, we enter the final round. Let's see if either fighter can bring us a finish, or whether we're going to the judges scorecards.
Cooper drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Iboyan is looking for a sweep. Iboyan is working hard here to advance position. Cooper just content to control the position. Cooper has had enough of the ground for now and decides to stand.
That's one minute gone in the round. Cooper looking to shoot here. He's gone for it and he's landed a takedown into mount! Oh, that's bad for Iboyan! Both fighters are breathing heavily. Cooper avoids the attempt from Iboyan to control. Cooper putting on the heat here with some good ground and pound! Cooper fakes a shot to the body and cracks his opponent in the head. Nice ground and pound there!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Iboyan is in a horrible position here. Cooper smacks him with another shot as he tries to escape the position.
Iboyan is looking to get to half guard. Iboyan in a bad spot here, taking shots to the head. Iboyan has given up his back here.
Cooper slows the pace down here. Having a little breather whilst he's in a dominant position, looking to rest and regain some energy, ready to go for the finish.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Cooper is trying to stick to Iboyan's back but Iboyan is turning into Cooper. He's managed to reverse the position - now he's in Cooper's guard. Polite applause from the crowd in appreciation of some nice Jiu Jitsu by Iboyan. Cooper looking for a sweep. Not yet Cooper, not yet. Cooper seems keen to control rather than go for a submission, at least for now.

Iboyan stops Cooper from standing up. Iboyan decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Iboyan shoots for a double leg takedown but Cooper sprawls well. He's pushed Iboyan's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Cooper shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Iboyan as he avoids it easily. Iboyan drives through with a really nice takedown into side control.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Cooper can't do much from the bottom here. Iboyan throws a strike aimed at the side of Cooper's head but Cooper avoids it well. Iboyan decides to stand back up. Cooper drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! You can see the frustration on Iboyan's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Iboyan tries to improve position but can't.
And that's the end of the fight! Paije Cooper comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Cooper has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
