Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Muhamad Alli (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Mauricio Rua (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Alli comes into the arena with De la Souls, by POS blaring out of the sound system. Both these guys have really solid chins. Will we see a standup war or will they both decide that a knockout is unlikely and try to win the fight elsewhere?

The judges for this bout are Fedor Mirinova, Viktor Lagutenko and Valeri Chadov.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Rua goes for a high kick. It partially lands.
Rua scores with a nice takedown into half guard. Let's see what he's got on the ground.
It looks like the ref is thinking about a standup.
Alli moves into full guard.
Rua throwing strikes but missing.
Rua looking to sit in guard and control but Alli gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.

Rua leaves Alli with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.
Alli lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Rua circles away quickly and effectively.
Rua has managed to clinch.
With the fighters up against the cage, Alli throws an elbow but misses.
Alli is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Rua pulls him back up using the underhooks.

Alli is trying to push Rua away but Rua has him pressed against the cage, so he's going nowhere.
With the fighters clinched against the cage, Alli creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut.
