The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Sluggo tried to score with a low kick but Morgan checks it.
Anthony Morgan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Morgan looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this!
Morgan shoots in for a double leg but Sluggo sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Morgan defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Sluggo.

Morgan dives in and grabs Sluggo's left leg, looking for a takedown. Sluggo pushes down on Morgan's head and hops out.

Sluggo throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Morgan's waist but Morgan gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Sluggo off to one side.

Morgan looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily.
Sluggo throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.

Sluggo changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Morgan tries to avoid it but Sluggo manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Morgan to the ground. Morgan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Sluggo has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Morgan avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch.

Sluggo breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat.
Morgan wants to clinch up but Sluggo keeps it at a distance.
Morgan looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Sluggo is fending him off so far but Morgan persists. Nope, Sluggo circles away and we're back to standing.

Well Sluggo has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. He was simply too good and the decision should be no more than a formality. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
