Coming up we have a lightweight MMA rules bout between Thomas Kirshaw (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Konstantin Tszyu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Tszyu has chosen System of a Down - Toxicity as his entrance music. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Skip Squint, Damien Edna and Steve Erwin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Kirshaw pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way.
Tszyu misses with a body shot.
Kirshaw misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Tszyu.
Kirshaw looks to land a left hand but Tszyu moved out of range nicely.
Kirshaw fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Tszyu.
Thomas Kirshaw seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Kirshaw turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
A bone on bone clash there as Tszyu blocks the leg kick.
Kirshaw uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tszyu.
Kirshaw throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd.
A head kick misses from Tszyu.
Kirshaw lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Tszyu gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Kirshaw.
Kirshaw throws a leg kick which misses Tszyu's front leg but catches the back leg as Tszyu tries to avoid it.
Kirshaw tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Tszyu was well out of range. Poor timing from Kirshaw.
Tszyu works his jab well there, keeping his opponent at a distance.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Tszyu moves forwards but Kirshaw connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Kirshaw uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Tszyu.

Kirshaw takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
A telegraphed right hand from Tszyu misses the target.
Kirshaw moves out of range of the body kick.
Kirshaw checks a low kick from Tszyu.
Nice cross by Tszyu.
Kirshaw lands a nice looking kick to the body. Tszyu takes a step back to recover.
Tszyu finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Kirshaw goes to the watering hole and comes back with a big thumbs up from the judges as he scores a three punch combo.
Tszyu walks into a stiff left hand from Kirshaw.
Tszyu tried to score with a low kick but Kirshaw checks it.
Tszyu swings for the body but Kirshaw moves out of range.
Tszyu changes levels and scores with a jab to the body.
Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
Kirshaw thows a body shot but no joy.
A slow jab from Tszyu misses its intended target.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Kirshaw throws a hook to the side of Tszyu's head but Tszyu sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Kirshaw lands with an overhand left.
Tszyu avoids the body shot from Kirshaw.
Kirshaw throws a shot from downtown. Tszyu moves away and avoids it.
Nice uppercut there from Kirshaw.
Kirshaw goes for a spinning back kick but it misses.
Tszyu takes one on the chin but seems OK.
Tszyu is rocked!
Whack! Kirshaw lands a heavy head kick that drops Tszyu. The ref tackles Kirshaw to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Tszyu was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Head Kick). Thomas Kirshaw!
