Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Rashad Campbell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and James McQueen (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). McQueen comes into a darkened arena with his song building. Edguy - Ministry of Saints kicks in, the lights come on and the crowd goes wild! What a showman! Both fighters look fresh as a daisy as they make their way towards the cage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rashad Campbell! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, James McQueen! The judges for this bout are Marco Blurström, Matti Vanhoillinen and Tarja Halkonen.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Campbell misses with a left hand and McQueen counters with a one-two to the body. Campbell darts in and out, connecting with a jab.
It looks like James McQueen has been cut. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McQueen gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there. McQueen slips a jab and a cross from Campbell.
James McQueen seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. McQueen drives through and clinches with Campbell against the cage.
Campbell breaks from the clinch.
McQueen tries a head kick but it misses.
Campbell stuffs the takedown. McQueen tries to clinch up but Campbell circles away and keeps his distance. McQueen fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Campbell to the ground. McQueen is now in Campbell's guard. The referee must be thinking about standing these guys back up. McQueen is looking to advance position but Campbell has hit a scissor sweep - now he's on top in mount!
That's one minute gone in the round. Campbell stands up from the dominant position. He obviously fancies his chances standing. McQueen keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
McQueen shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Campbell as he avoids it easily. No luck for McQueen with that takedown attempt. Rashad Campbell has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of James McQueen. Campbell has his front leg slapped to the side - a nice low kick landing there from McQueen. Campbell throws out a token jab with nothing on it. McQueen shoots in looking for a takedown. Campbell tries to sprawl out of it but McQueen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Campbell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Campbell misses the jab.
That's two minutes gone in the round. McQueen changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Campbell tries to avoid it but McQueen manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Campbell to the ground. Campbell escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. A big left from McQueen misses. McQueen shoots in for a double leg but Campbell sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy. Campbell swings and misses with a shot to the body and McQueen counters with a slapping leg kick. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Campbell catches McQueen with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong! McQueen avoids a lazy jab quite easily. Campbell throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Campbell throws a shot to the body.
Campbell throws a right and a left that both miss. McQueen throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Campbell displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from McQueen. Campbell throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. McQueen tries for a takedown but Campbell sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. McQueen steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Campbell. Campbell misses with a hook. McQueen ducked under it nicely. Campbell with a hook.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Campbell jabbing away but nothing is landing. McQueen gets cracked with a nice right hand there by Campbell. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! McQueen shoots in looking for a takedown. Campbell tries to sprawl out of it but McQueen keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Campbell manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Campbell is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. McQueen fails miserably with a takedown attempt. McQueen throws a low kick but Campbell avoids it. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! McQueen will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Rashad Campbell will probably get the nod. The cut man is working on James McQueen's cut. That's time! Campbell's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight.
Campbell misses with a lunging right hand
and McQueen counters with a nice single leg takedown and he's in Campbell's guard now. Campbell keeping moving, preventing McQueen from controlling successfully. Campbell is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. McQueen is pushing down on Campbell's leg trying to pass to half guard. Campbell is fighting to maintain full guard but McQueen has managed to sneak the leg through. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. McQueen tries to pass the half guard into mount. Campbell knows what he's doing though and prevents the attempt.
That's one minute gone in the round. McQueen prevents Campbell from standing back up.
Campbell kicks McQueen off and gets back to his feet. Campbell slaps away a takedown attempt from McQueen, before circling back to the center of the mat. McQueen bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. McQueen tries to clinch there but Campbell circles away.
McQueen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Campbell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Campbell cracks McQueen with a good jab. Campbell scores with a hook to the body. McQueen takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. A shot to the body from Campbell misses and McQueen counters with a single leg into guard. Campbell didn't expect that. This has been an exciting period of action! Campbell utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Campbell is looking to stand back up but McQueen counters by passing into half guard. Oops... bit sloppy there by Campbell. McQueen is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Campbell has managed to free his arm - good work.
The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. McQueen is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Campbell tries to kick McQueen off but McQueen keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. McQueen is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Campbell doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time McQueen. Campbell keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. James McQueen has got the better of the ground game so far.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. McQueen has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Campbell tries to buck McQueen off but McQueen takes his back! As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. McQueen struggling to keep hold of the position.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
James McQueen showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. The cut man is working on James McQueen's cut. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! The crowd applaud as we get ready to start the final round!
Campbell looks to score with a jab to the body but McQueen is just out of range. McQueen misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Campbell.

McQueen uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Campbell.
McQueen shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Campbell as he jumps to the side. Campbell digs a good hook to McQueen's body.
Campbell lands a right hook to the body.
McQueen tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Campbell manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round. A right-left combo lands from Campbell. McQueen takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired. Campbell feints with a jab and clips McQueen right behind the ear with a massive overhand right! McQueen is sent crashing into the canvas and Campbell leaps in for the kill! McQueen tries to get to his feet but Campbell is just battering him from every conceivable angle. The ref decides that McQueen is in need of a savior and steps in!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:15 of round 3, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rashad Campbell!
