Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 15 - 11 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Paul Baller!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 5 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Helsinki, Rob Snitch!
The judges for this bout are Matti Vanhoillinen, Johanna Lukiainen and Marco Blurström.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Snitch misses with a wild combination.

Snitch shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Baller manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
Baller manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Snitch manages to get himself to full guard.
Snitch keeping full guard, as Baller tries to pass.
Snitch has his hands on Baller's head, controlling the position.
Baller will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions.
Snitch keeping moving, preventing Baller from controlling successfully.
Snitch lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Baller!

Baller is in all sorts of trouble here.
Snitch lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
Baller bucks up and manages to get a nice reversal! He's in guard on the top - nicely done!
Snitch controls Baller momentarily but Baller frees himself.
Baller looking to sit in guard and control but Snitch gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Snitch with a flurry of punches that miss.
Snitch throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Baller works some decent striking defense from the bottom.
Snitch postures up and lands some nice ground and pound.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Baller is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Baller really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.
Snitch is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Snitch tries to advance to mount but can't.

The ground and pound from Snitch seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

Snitch goes for an armbar here - this could be all over! But no, Baller has escaped beautifully and is now on top in side control! Oh, that's unlucky for Snitch but great work by Baller.

Baller advances nicely into full mount.
Snitch is writhing around trying to get back to his feet.
Baller lands with some strikes.
Baller tries to control but Snitch wriggling away.

Snitch tries to lock up and control but Baller gives him a forearm to the face and pushes him away.
Snitch has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan.
Snitch manages to regain half guard. Good work.
Baller is looking for the mount but instead finds himself back in full guard.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Snitch not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action!
Baller wants to pass the guard but Snitch is keeping the position.
Baller passes into half guard.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Rob Snitch dominated that round.
That's the end of the round. The referee orders the cornermen out of the cage so we can get back down to business.


A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Snitch.
Baller dips down and scores with a jab to the body.
A left lands for Baller.
Baller misses with a hook. Snitch ducked under it nicely.
Snitch misses with a takedown
and Baller cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Snitch fails with a takedown attempt from distance.
Paul Baller has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rob Snitch.

It looks like Rob Snitch has been cut.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Baller connects with a lovely jab that went straight through the gap between Snitch's hands.
Baller throws a big shot that misses.
Nice defenses there by Baller.
Baller digs a good hook to Snitch's body.

Snitch misses with a takedown
and Baller counters with a right hand to the body.
Snitch is breathing heavily.
Baller lands with an uppercut that bounces Snitch off the cage and back into range.
Baller misses with a looping right.
Snitch tries for a takedown but Baller sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily.

Baller cracks Snitch with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Baller throws out a token jab with nothing on it.
Paul Baller is winning the standup battle so far.
Baller throws out a loose jab but Snitch uses good head movement to avoid it.
Rob Snitch seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Good shot there by Baller.
Snitch has his hands up protecting his head but a hook from Baller finds it's way round the side to connect with Snitch's head.
Snitch shoots in for a takedown but Baller shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.

Paul Baller is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Snitch throws a combination that misses
and Baller counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head.
Nice shot lands for Baller.
Snitch tries for a takedown but Baller circles away easily
and Baller counters with a crisp right that sends Snitch to the canvas! Baller follows up with punches from the mount and this one is all over!
