Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Wanderley Souza (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Souza has chosen Roy Jones - Can't be touched as his entrance music. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Jon Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 1 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, Wanderley Souza! The judges for this bout are Valeri Chadov, Illya Tyunina and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Jones fails with a takedown attempt from distance. Jones tries to clinch there but Souza circles away.
Jones falls off balance throwing a combination
and Souza cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. The fight moves into the clinch position. Souza pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Souza avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Souza swings for the body but Jones moves out of range.
Souza stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Souza wants it to stay on the feet. Souza lunges in with an uppercut that skims his opponent's chin. Jones tries to clinch but Souza moves out of range. Souza fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Souza throws a series of strikes that have Jones backpedaling.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Souza throws a combination but comes up with nothing but fresh air.
Souza looks gassed!
That's one minute gone in the round. Souza clinches. Souza tries to break the clinch but Jones is controlling the position. Jones escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Souza moves into the clinch successfully.
Jones fails to pull the fight into his guard.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Jones. That's going to take a lot out of him. Jones is pushing Souza up against the cage, for a bit of lean and pray action. Action being used the in the loosest possible sense of the word. Jones tries to pull guard but Souza won't allow it.
Jones lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Souza backwards. Jones stalling against the cage.
Jones tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
Jones tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Souza smiles and moves away.
Jones could do with loosing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Jones fails in his attempt to clinch. The fight moves into the clinch position. Jones breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Souza scores with a jab. Jones acknowledges it with a nod of the head. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Jones takes one on the button. Jones tries to clinch up but Souza circles away and keeps his distance. Jones wants to clinch up but Souza keeps it at a distance. Souza clinches. Jones jumps guard but Souza stands there with Jones around his waist. Jones gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.
Souza gets control of Jones's arms and successfully pulls guard. Souza will no doubt be looking for submissions off his back.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Souza is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Jones is controlling him. Jones trying to control but Souza is working from the bottom. Jones drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Jones jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Jones seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Souza for as long as he can get away with. Souza keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up.
We're going to have a standup here because Jon Jones wasn't active enough for the referee's liking. Jones takes the fight into the clinch. Jones fails to pull guard.
Jones tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Souza just stands there and leans against the cage. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Souza can't break the clinch.

A close round but Wanderley Souza will probably get the nod. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action!
The fight stays on the outside here - Jones looks like he's thinking about clinching though. No joy there for Souza, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Jones is looking to take this fight into the clinch. Jones throws a series of punches but Souza avoids them all with ease. Jones fails to land with a series of punches.
Jones tries to close the distance and clinch up but Souza swats him away and circles back towards the center. Souza misses with a few strikes there.

Jones shoots for a double leg takedown but Souza sprawls well. He's pushed Jones's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Souza scores to the head and body with a nice combination!

That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Souza walks away with a smile on his face. Jones gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. Souza connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Souza misses with a double jab.

Souza wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Jones successfully pulls guard.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Jones trying to keep a closed guard but Souza is proving a slippery customer.
Souza trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Souza stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Jones swivels though and keeps the full guard. Souza postures up in Jones's guard and throws a big left but Jones blocks it. Jones is working the butterfly guard. He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Jones prevents Souza from standing back up.
Jones wants to work for an arm triangle but Souza is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Souza is not content to let Jones control the position. Jones is just content to waste time from the top position. Souza takes advantage of the situation and regains full guard. Souza is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Souza keeping moving, preventing Jones from controlling successfully.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Jones thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Jones avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Jones trying to control the position from guard on top but Souza is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Souza is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Jones passes easily into side control. Nice work. Souza is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but Jones has just dragged him back down to the mat. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Jon Jones will probably get the nod. The minute break is over - no more time for sponges and pep talks - back to the action! This is the final round!

Jones is really struggling to control Souza but he's trying to hold on to the position. Souza is fighting to break Jones's control of his arms but Jones is doing a good job of controlling the position at the moment. Souza chips away with some ground and pound. Jones not looking particularly offensive just at the moment.
The referee looks like he's ready to step in and stand the fighters back up. Souza working some strikes from top position. Jones is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Jones has a closed guard, preventing anything of note from happening. Perhaps he's looking to stall. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Jones keeping full guard, as Souza tries to pass.
That's one minute gone in the round. Souza trying to control the position from guard on top but Jones is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Jones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Souza can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jones avoiding any damage from the ground and pound. Souza drops back for a leg but he's not going to get it - he lets go and Jones dives on top into guard. Jones trying to control but Souza is working from the bottom. Souza controls Jones momentarily but Jones frees himself. Jon Jones overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far. Jones drops back for a leg here. A bit of a high risk move... He's looking for a kneebar by the looks of things. Now both of them are looking for submissions. Jones seems to have locked his on tight now - Souza screams in pain and taps out furiously! It certainly was a high risk move but it's paid off for Jones, as he picks up the win!
