The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Fedor Mirinova and Aleksei Zolotukhin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Maydugo will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Davis misses with an uppercut.
Maydugo misses with a body shot
and Davis makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range.
Maydugo looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
Davis is controlling Maydugo's posture.
Maydugo postures up.
Maydugo slips nicely into half guard.
Maydugo is working for a submission of some sort.
Maydugo is looking for a kimura but Davis is holding onto that half guard position, so it's hard for Maydugo to get the leverage.

Maydugo is trying for a guillotine from the top but the pressure isn't in the right place so Davis is just riding it out for now. Maydugo eventually gives up the hold.

Maydugo pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Davis is keeping the position for now.
Davis has control of Maydugo's left arm, preventing Maydugo from doing any damage.
Davis looking to sweep here. No luck so far.

Davis manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!
The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now.
Davis looking to control but Maydugo is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.

Davis postures up and cracks his opponent a couple of times before moving back into close ground control. Maydugo looks a forlorn figure.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Davis! Maydugo is hurt baaadly! Davis is firing away with more strikes - Maydugo is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!
