Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Janos Lieu (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Remy Bonjasky (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Lieu comes to the cage accompanied by "Iron Man" by Black Sabbath. Bonjasky is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: LP - Hit the floor. The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Lieu tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Bonjasky was well out of range. Poor timing from Lieu.
Bonjasky fails with an attempt to clinch.
Lieu tests Bonjasky's chin there with a solid looking shot.
Lieu avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Bonjasky tries to clinch but fails miserably
letting Lieu counter with a right hand.
Lieu circles away from the clinch attempt
and Lieu cracks him with a counter punch right on the button.
Lieu works Bonjasky's body with a nice hook.

Bonjasky moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross.
Bonjasky ducks under a wild hook from Lieu.

Lieu fakes high and swings low for a body shot but Bonjasky manages to avoid it.
Bonjasky tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Lieu counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bonjasky tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Bonjasky misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Bonjasky tries to clinch but Lieu moves out of range.
Bonjasky avoids the body shot from Lieu.
Lieu jabs away that one connects to the head of his opponent.
Bonjasky is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
Bonjasky tries to clinch up but Lieu circles away and keeps his distance.
Bonjasky tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Lieu manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat.
Lieu lands a jab, followed by a cross and another cross, as Bonjasky backs up against the cage.

It looks like Remy Bonjasky has been cut.

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Bonjasky takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

and Lieu connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.

Bonjasky tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Lieu counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.
Bonjasky is still on wobbly legs! Can Lieu finish him?
Bonjasky looks gassed!
Lieu lands with a nice body punch.
Bonjasky seems to have recovered his senses.
Lieu catches Bonjasky with a nice straight right. He seems pissed - ooooh, it's on now! On like donkey kong!

and Lieu scores with a counter punch that sends Bonjasky to the canvas! Lieu smells blood - he's punishing Bonjasky with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Bonjasky has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!
