Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Cthulhu Fhtagn (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Keijo Lerppa (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Fhtagn comes to the cage accompanied by Cthulhu Fhtagn!. Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
12 - 4 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Cthulhu Fhtagn!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
5 - 8 - 1, fighting out of Helsinki, Keijo Lerppa!
The judges for this bout are Roosa Järviläinen, Anni Minnemäki and Arvi Lind.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
The fight moves into the clinch position.
Lerppa misses with a short punch on the inside.
Lerppa changes levels and goes for a takedown here. Fhtagn fights it off and pushes away nicely.
Fhtagn moves into the clinch.
Fhtagn tries a knee to the head but Lerppa blocks it.
Lerppa drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Lerppa wants the takedown. Fhtagn is fighting it off but Lerppa persists and manages to bring the fight to the ground, ending up in Fhtagn's guard against the cage.
Lerppa postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Fhtagn is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Lerppa, into his guard.
Lerppa working for a triangle but Fhtagn defends it easily.
Fhtagn trying to stand up but can't free himself from Lerppa's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Lerppa is looking for a guillotine. You can't force these things though and Fhtagn defends well.
Fhtagn decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow.
Lerppa shoots for a double leg takedown but Fhtagn sprawls well. He's pushed Lerppa's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily.
Cthulhu Fhtagn has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Keijo Lerppa.

enabling Fhtagn to counter with a crisp jab.
Cthulhu Fhtagn is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
Fhtagn gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here.
Fhtagn stalling here - the referee won't stand for too much of that.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Fhtagn lands an elbow inside.
Fhtagn blocks a couple of punches on the inside.
The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Fhtagn takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life.

Fhtagn blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Fhtagn lands a knee to the head.
Lerppa misses with a punch to the body.
Fhtagn tries a knee to the head but he's missed.
Fhtagn is pressed up against the cage. Lerppa has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Fhtagn down to the mat. Fhtagn avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Oooooh!!! Fhtagn has knocked Lerppa down with a huge combo! Fhtagn steps away and waves a wobbly Lerppa back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!
Lerppa fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Fhtagn avoids it really well and circles away.
Lerppa will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Lerppa looks gassed!
Fhtagn gets a clinch.
Fhtagn has double underhooks and is working for a body lock takedown. He's got it. The fighters land in half guard but Lerppa regains guard immediately.
Fhtagn wanted to stand there but Lerppa had control of the position.
Lerppa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.
That's three minutes gone in the round.
Fhtagn pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Lerppa is keeping the position for now.

Lerppa is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Fhtagn is aware though and is defending well.
Fhtagn wanted to stand there but Lerppa had control of the position.
Lerppa looking to hit a scissor sweep but Fhtagn is one step ahead there.
Lerppa pushes a forearm under Fhtagn's chin to create some space. He's escaped his hips and pivoted quickly for an armbar! Can he extend the arm? Yes, Fhtagn is tapping out! Damn, that was fast!
