Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Lester Howell (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Jesus Gonzalez (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Gonzalez has chosen Why Cant we Be Friends! as his entrance music. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

30 - 12 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Jesus Gonzalez!
The judges for this bout are Wagner Zegers, Paulsen Ambrosius and Patrick Alders.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Gonzalez pushing out the jab but it's not landing.
Gonzalez scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business.
Gonzalez throws a leg kick but Howell moved away.
Gonzalez walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush.
A lazy body kick from Howell
and Gonzalez counters with a nice leg kick.
Howell throws a head kick but Gonzalez moves out of range.
Gonzalez throws a jab when Howell was well out of range.
Gonzalez is the aggressor but that punch slipped nicely by Howell.
Howell misses with a jab and misses with a cross straight after too.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Howell steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Gonzalez.
A swing and a miss from Gonzalez.
Howell lands a leg kick and bounces back out of range.
Gonzalez throws a big shot that misses.
Howell moves into range and lands a nice leg kick.
Howell misses with a body kick.
An inside leg kick from Howell misses.
Howell lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.
That's one minute gone in the round.

Howell throws a hook but Gonzalez blocks it.
Gonzalez scores with a slapping inside leg kick.
Howell scores with a kick to the body.
Gonzalez blocks the body kick.
Gonzalez connects with a nice looking jab.
Howell bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes.
Howell throws a leg kick that misses.
Ouch! a nice leg kick from Howell, right into the meat.
Gonzalez fakes a head shot and lands one to the body.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Howell tries to clinch up but Gonzalez circles away and keeps his distance.
Jesus Gonzalez is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.
That's two minutes gone in the round.
Howell lands a kick to the ribs of his opponent. Nice work there - in and out in a flash.
Gonzalez rushes in with a sloppy looking punch
and Howell counters with a big head kick but Gonzalez shrugs it off.
Howell lets loose with a powerful body kick. Gonzalez will feel that in the morning.
Gonzalez looks gassed!
Howell throws a looping overhand right but Gonzalez ducks down to avoid it.
Gonzalez walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
A big right from Gonzalez misses.
Both fighters circling a little - Howell finishes the exchange with a kick to the body.
A head kick from Howell lands but Gonzalez takes it in his stride.
Gonzalez moves forwards but Howell connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Howell throws a front kick aimed at Gonzalez's knee but Gonzalez avoids it well.
Howell connects with a combination that backs up Gonzalez into the cage. Howell lands a flurry of punches that gets past Gonzalez's guard. Gonzalez is down and the referee has seen enough. It is all over! Howell bursts into tears - this win obviously means a huge amount to him.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:51 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Lester Howell!
