Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Chris Snorodecki (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Drew Carpenter (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Carpenter has chosen Blue Heaven as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. These two fighters really are very evenly matched on the feet - it will be fascinating to see who can assert themselves in that aspect of the fight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the featherweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
9 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Amsterdam, Chris Snorodecki!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
13 - 6 - 0, fighting out of London, Drew Carpenter!
The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Patrick Alders and Aafke Stam.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Carpenter misses with a low kick.
Carpenter will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.
Snorodecki turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Carpenter shoots in and drives through. Snorodecki sprawls well.
Carpenter throws a leg kick that is checked
letting Snorodecki counter with a right hand.
Carpenter shoots in looking for a takedown. Snorodecki tries to sprawl out of it but Carpenter keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Snorodecki manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Chris Snorodecki has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Drew Carpenter.
Snorodecki throws a solid leg kick but Carpenter takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Snorodecki.
Carpenter checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Snorodecki, as that shot connected.
Carpenter is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Snorodecki comes forward and lands a shot to the body, then darts back out of range.
Carpenter is still on wobbly legs! Can Snorodecki finish him?
Carpenter takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
Carpenter checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time.
Snorodecki scores with a sloppy right hand. Carpenter should have avoided that one.
Snorodecki throws a right and a left that both miss.
Snorodecki ducks down into range and throws a picture perfect right hook that connects with Carpenter's jaw. Carpenter's eyes stare off into space as he falls to the mat, out cold! Snorodecki does the decent thing and steps back, rather than landing any shots to his unconscious opponent.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:49 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Chris Snorodecki!
