Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jason Bent (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Steven Beck (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). We have two fighters making their debuts here, so let's see who comes out of this one with their first professional victory.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Jason Bent!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Steven Beck!
The judges for this bout are Sam Margolis, Donald Grub and Andrew Berry.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Bent rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Beck moves out of range and avoids them all easily.
Beck misses the jab.
Bent throws a right and a left that Beck avoids nicely.
Beck lands a right hook to the body.
Beck is looking to clinch.
Beck lands a nice leg kick that just misses Bent's sensitive parts.
Beck throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle.
Beck connects with a solid leg kick.
Bent throws a body punch but Beck moves out of range.

Bent gets caught on his heels momentarily as he allows Beck to score an easy takedown into full guard.
Bent is trying to control the position from the bottom.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.

Bent wants to sweep here but Beck controlling him for the moment.

We're going to have a standup here because Jason Bent wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Beck moves away from the strike by Bent.
Bent stuns Beck with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Beck closes the distance and clinches up with Bent, looking for a takedown. Beck pushes Bent against the cage but Bent circles to the side and manages to break the clinch.

and Beck counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Bent!
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.
Bent is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Bent is breathing heavily.

Bent avoids a series of strikes thrown by Beck.

Beck takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.

That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.


Beck throws a head kick that half lands.
Bent throws a sloppy head kick and Beck moves out of range easily.

Beck closes the distance and clinches up, looking for a takedown. He shifts his weight and gets a nice trip into half guard.
Beck wants to pass the guard but Bent is defending well.
The fighters are battling for position here. Bent manages to regain full guard. Nice work.
Beck postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect.
Beck lands a couple of elbows.
Beck looking to sit in guard and control but Bent gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
This has been an exciting period of action!
Beck is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.

Bent passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Beck!

Bent is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Beck can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Bent connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
Bent trying to control but he's not successful this time.
Bent lands a couple of nice shots there from mount.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
BOOM! Bent connects with a massive shot to the dome!
Beck tries to hold on but Bent pushes him away.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Jason Bent dominated that second round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. This is the final round!


Bent turns his hip over beautifully as he lands a nice leg kick.
Bent throws a right and a left that both miss.
No joy there for Bent, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Bent wants to clinch up but Beck keeps it at a distance.

Bent has closed the distance and engaged Beck in a clinch.
Bent comes over the top with an elbow. That landed flush.

Bent escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.

Bent tries to keep at a distance but Beck has taken the fight into the clinch.

Bent breaks from the clinch.

Beck forces Bent back against the cage and clinches.

Bent manages to break the clinch.
Beck thows a body shot but no joy.
Beck doesn't manage to clinch there - Bent circles away.
A slapping leg kick lands for Bent.
Beck takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Beck tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Bent paws at him with a jab and circles away.
Bent throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Beck.
Bent uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook.
Bent gets cracked there but stands up to it.
Beck stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Beck wants it to stay on the feet.
Beck fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Bent avoids it really well and circles away.

Beck is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Bent's half guard.

Beckis looking to pass into half guard but Bent pushes him away with his feet and jumps on top - now Bent is in guard.

Bent is working Beck over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!
Bent tries to free his leg and advance position but Beck is retaining full guard.
Beck is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.

Bent distracts Beck with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm.

Beck working from the bottom, still in full guard. He's managed to get a loose triangle. Bent doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Bent manages to throw the legs off his shoulder and he's back into guard - no problem.

Jason Bent overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.

Beck manages to land a sweep and now he's in mount on top!

Beck goes for an armbar but Bent turns quickly into his guard - lovely anticipation from Bent.

Beck escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Bent gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance.

Bent wants to control from the top but Beck keeps moving.
Bent wants to pass the guard but Beck is keeping the position.
