The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Castro looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.
SixtyNine is refusing to be controlled, as Castro sits in half guard.
SixtyNine wants to get back to full guard.
Castro seems content to maintain position for now, rather than mounting any offense.
Castro prevents SixtyNine from standing back up.
Castro frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
SixtyNine is trying to escape the mount.

That's one minute gone in the round.
Castro tries to push SixtyNine's head away but SixtyNine is holding on tight.
Castro controlling the position easily from mount.
Castro trying to control but SixtyNine is having none of it.

SixtyNine should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.

SixtyNine defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Castro.

Castro wants to control the pace but SixtyNine is squirming around nicely.
Castro with some aggressive grappling here, looking for the finish.
Castro can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as SixtyNine is looking to escape.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.

SixtyNine is desperately trying to improve his position but Castro has a good base and remains in mount.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if SixtyNine can do anything to dispel that myth.

SixtyNine shoots in and bounces Castro off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Castro wants to stand and escape but SixtyNine is having none of it.
SixtyNine tries to free his leg and advance position but Castro is retaining full guard.
SixtyNine thows a big elbow that misses.
SixtyNine looking to sit in guard and control but Castro gets the butterfly guard and sweeps. He's now in the guard on the top.
Castro wants to control from the top but SixtyNine keeps moving.

SixtyNine doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
Castro trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
Castro stops SixtyNine from standing up.
Castro trying to control the position from guard on top but SixtyNine is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.

We're going to have a standup here because Alexander Castro wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
SixtyNine lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.

A really sloppy takedown attempt there from SixtyNine.
SixtyNine is looking to take this fight into the clinch.
PunchATron SixtyNine seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.

SixtyNine closes the distance and gets a trip takedown into side control. Castro quickly recovers to half guard.
SixtyNine is breathing heavily.
Castro is refusing to be controlled, as SixtyNine sits in half guard.
Castro works his way to full guard. Good work.
Castro bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in SixtyNine's guard.
Castro trying to control but SixtyNine is working from the bottom.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.

Castro passes SixtyNine's right leg, so he's now in half guard.
Castro wants to control but SixtyNine is keeping him busy.
The referee wants the fighters to be more active or he's going to reset them on the feet.

We're going to have a standup here because Alexander Castro wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
Castro tries a head kick but it misses.

That's four minutes gone in the round.
Castro shoots in looking for a takedown but SixtyNine manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Castro's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
SixtyNine doesn't manage to clinch there - Castro circles away.
Castro is trying hard to land a takedown here. SixtyNine sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet.
SixtyNine wants to clinch.
Castro tries to score a power double leg takedown but SixtyNine sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Castro somewhat.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Alexander Castro. That's going to take a lot out of him.

SixtyNine closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Castro's guard.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Castro is looking to stand up but SixtyNine isn't so interested in that idea.
And that�s the end of the round � the fighters go back to their corners.

A close second round but PunchATron SixtyNine will probably get the nod - 10:9.
Well, the break between rounds is over. Let's get back to the scrappin! This is the final round!



SixtyNine has taken the fight to the clinch.
SixtyNine jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Castro walks away with a smile on his face. SixtyNine gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head.
SixtyNine shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Castro as he jumps to the side.

SixtyNine bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control.
Castro is trying to stand back up. He's worked his way up against the cage but SixtyNine has just dragged him back down to the mat.
SixtyNine throwing strikes but Castro manages to buck up and roll into a nice reversal - now he's on top in side control!
SixtyNine trying to control but Castro flips him over like a cheap hooker and has his back!
SixtyNine tries to break free.
SixtyNine takes a big intake of breath there - he's definitely tired.

Castro has managed to slip his arm under SixtyNine's chin. This could be all over... yep, SixtyNine is tapping out! Submission win for Castro.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:04 of round 3, we have a winner by way of Submission (RNC). Alexander Castro!
