The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Michel just misses with a punch to the body.
Heath fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Heath doesn't manage to clinch there - Michel circles away.
Horrible takedown by Michel or perhaps it was just good defense by Heath which made him look bad.
Michel shoots in looking for a takedown but Heath manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Michel's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away.
Heath takes a step towards his opponent and connects with a left hand, before circling away.
Heath lands a beauty of a right hand that gets the crowd cheering.

We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.

We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Heath can do anything to dispel that myth.

Michel is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact.
Heath manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Michel manages to get himself to full guard.
The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult.
Heath wants to control from the top but Michel keeps moving.

Michel lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Heath circles away quickly and effectively.
Michel changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Heath tries to avoid it but Michel manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Heath to the ground. Heath escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.

Michel shoots for a takedown but Heath saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.
The step up in weight doesn't seem to be a problem for Heath. He's performing admirably here against the bigger man.

Michel's corner are shouting for him to stand up but that's bad cornering - how is he meant to stand up when he's mounted? He should be looking to improve his position on the ground before trying to stand back up.

Heath postures up and throws a massive shot that knocks Michel out cold! Two more strikes to his unconscious opponent for good luck and this one is all over! Heath goes absolutely crazy with his corner! Wow, you can see how much that win means to him!
