Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Royce Grazies (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Az Anubis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Az Anubis will no doubt be trying to keep this one on the feet, where he has a distinct advantage.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
12 - 6 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Az Anubis!
The judges for this bout are , Don Winkell and Jack Bonds.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Anubis stuns Grazies with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.
Grazies has managed to clinch.
Anubis is struggling to control the position.
Grazies tries for a takedown. No joy.
Grazies is trying to work for a single leg takedown but Anubis pulls him back up using the underhooks.
A short right from Grazies on the inside.
Grazies takes a knee right on the jaw!
Grazies misses with a short punch on the inside.
Anubis creates a bit of space for himself and sneaks an elbow through Grazies's defenses.
Anubis working Grazies over with knees to the body.
Grazies drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Royce Grazies. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd are loving this. Great action here.
Anubis tries a knee to the head but Grazies blocks it.
Anubis is pressed up against the cage. Grazies has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Anubis down to the mat. Anubis avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
Anubis fails to land with the punch combination there - jab, cross, hook, miss, miss, miss.
Anubis lands an overhand right.
Grazies shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Anubis stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Anubis wants it to stay on the feet.
Grazies is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Thud! ouch! good body kick from Anubis - that will leave a mark!
Grazies takes a shot to the nose. Hopefully that hasn't broken it.
Grazies shoots in for a takedown. "Ole!" shouts Anubis as he jumps to the side.
Grazies stumbles momentarily as he takes a strong leg kick from Anubis.
Anubis connects with a single shot there.
Grazies takes a body punch but keeps moving.
Anubis lands with an uppercut that bounces Grazies off the cage and back into range.
Grazies with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Anubis to score with a decent uppercut.
Anubis throws a quick head kick that skims the top of Grazies's head.
Grazies is rocked!
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Anubis walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Grazies drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Anubis swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Grazies's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:47 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Az Anubis!
