Coming up we have a heavyweight MMA rules bout between Jon Curtis (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Teddy Bear (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Curtis's entrance music is Here Comes The Boom. A fine choice. Both fighters look pumped up here. Let's hope this is a good fight!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Jon Curtis! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
7 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Teddy Bear! The judges for this bout are Summer Carpenter, John Mangel and Hugh Johnson.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Bear explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work. Curtis dives in and grabs Bear's left leg, looking for a takedown. Bear pushes down on Curtis's head and hops out. Curtis is looking to clinch but Bear is avoiding it.
Bear lands a head kick. Curtis smiles back at him and beckons him forward. Curtis misses with a takedown and Bear counters with a good, hard body kick but Curtis shrugs it off. Bear connects with a high kick. This has been an exciting period of action! Curtis misses with a takedown attempt and Bear counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Jon Curtis. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bear lands a head kick!
Curtis closes the distance but Bear moves to the side and Bear counters with a body kick that stops Curtis in his tracks momentarily. Curtis with a lazy takedown attempt and Bear counters with a good, hard body kick but Curtis shrugs it off. Curtis is breathing heavily.
That's one minute gone in the round. Curtis takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Curtis gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Bear counters with a head kick. That will keep Curtis thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! Bear goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Curtis tries to clinch and Bear finishes the little exchange by landing a big kick to the body. Bear throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Bear scores with a push kick. Bear lands with a kick to the temple. Curtis shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Bear. Curtis shrugs it off though.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Nice body kick there by Bear. Bear throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Curtis misses with a takedown attempt and Bear counters with an inside leg kick. A thudding body kick lands there by Bear!
Teddy Bear is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bear lands a head kick!
Curtis takes a kick to the side of the head. Bear throws a feint and then finishes with a kick to the body. Curtis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bear counters with a nice uppercut.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Curtis looks to clinch and Bear makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. This is turning into a torrid day at the office for Curtis. He's trying desperately to land a takedown but he's failing miserably and getting slapped silly on the feet to compound his misery. Bear shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Curtis eats them both and turns towards Bear to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo. Curtis will be looking to protect his midsection after taking some solid kicks to the body. Bear lands with a two punch combination before moving back out of range.
Bear will need to tighten up his combinations if he doesn't want to gas himself out, swinging at thin air.
Curtis throws a body kick despite being completely out of range and Bear counters with a nice kick to the body. Bear misses with a series of wild punches.

Curtis misses with a takedown and Bear counters with a good, hard body kick but Curtis shrugs it off.
That's four minutes gone in the round. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Curtis takes a head kick and shrugs it off.
Bear throws a series of punches but Curtis avoids them all with ease. A left and a right from Bear both land. Nice combination. Bear throws a sloppy head kick and Curtis moves out of range easily. Curtis doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bear counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Curtis is lucky that one didn't land flush. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Bear goes for a high kick. It partially lands. Bear lands a nice looking body shot.

Teddy Bear dominated that round. OK. That's time! The bell goes and we're back to the action.
Bear lands a jab. Then a cross. Then finally a nice hook to the body. Good work there by Bear. Curtis tries to clinch but Bear is having none of it. Curtis misses with a takedown attempt and Bear makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Curtis really felt that one! Bear moves away from the strike by Curtis. Jon Curtis seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bear throws a head kick that looked like it stung.
Curtis doesn't succeed with the takedown and Bear counters with a big head kick but Curtis shrugs it off. Curtis tries for a takedown but Bear circles away easily and Bear counters with a kick to the head that grazes his opponent. Curtis is lucky that one didn't land flush. The crowd cheers as Bear lands an impressive looking overhand right. Curtis doesn't seem phased though. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.
That's one minute gone in the round. The fight stays on the outside here - Curtis looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Jon Curtis is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Curtis tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Curtis shoots and misses and Bear counters with a lovely straight right hand! Bear throws a two punch combo that lands nicely.
This entire fight has taken place on the feet so far and you wonder whether Curtis might be better served trying to take this one to the ground because he's losing the standup battle so far. Nice body kick there by Bear. Curtis walks forward, straight into a front kick from Bear. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Curtis crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Bear - the referee stops the clock and Curtis gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Bear. Curtis manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes. Bear lands a powerful looking uppercut that connected with his opponent's jaw.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Curtis tries for a takedown but Bear circles away easily and Bear makes the exchange count by landing a cracking kick to the body. Curtis really felt that one! Bear delivers a nice body kick. Jab, jab by Bear - just one landing. Bear lands with a slapping head kick. Bear throws a head kick that half lands.
Teddy Bear seems to be getting the better of the standup. Bear connects with a body shot that sends Curtis's belly button to the back. A kick lands to the mid section there for Bear. Nice body kick there by Bear.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Bear throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.

Curtis is rocked! Bear thuds his shin into the meat of Curtis's side. Bear moves into range and lands a nice body kick.

Left hook, right uppercut from Bear. Bear slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Bear scores with a decent looking hook. Bear connects with a high kick. Oh Curtis is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! A slapping body kick lands there for Bear. Curtis seems to have got his legs back now. Bear scores with a jab to the head.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Danga de danga de dang - Bear scores with a four punch combination! Curtis with a poor takedown and Bear counters with a body kick that stops Curtis in his tracks momentarily. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Teddy Bear showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round!

Bear scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Curtis doesn't seem bothered though. Curtis shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Bear counters with a big head kick but Curtis shrugs it off. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Bear thuds his shin into the meat of Curtis's side. Bear is trying to stand up but he's being controlled by his opponent. Curtis keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Bear is looking to stand but Bear has his arms wrapped tightly around him, looking to prevent the damage.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Bear avoids the attempt from Curtis to control. Bear wants to get back to his feet but Curtis is holding on tight.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
That's three minutes gone in the round. Curtis is trying desperately to improve position. Curtis is working hard here to advance position. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Bear tries to stand up but he's trapped just for the moment. Bear has been the more effective fighter overall so far.

Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Bear lands a nice looking kick to the body. Curtis takes a step back to recover. Curtis tries to clinch there but Bear circles away.
Jon Curtis has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Bear listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Curtis fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Bear to the ground. Curtis is now in Bear's guard. Teddy Bear is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Curtis trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet.
And that's the end of the fight! Teddy Bear comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I've got Bear winning every round here. Surely the decision will go his way and he'll pick up a well deserved decision victory. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
