Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between Kang Ho Song (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Amir Khan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Chooooooooon! I think Song might be my favorite fighter, now he's come out to Dragonforce - Valley of the Damned . Over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Kang Ho Song! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
1 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Sydney, Amir Khan! The judges for this bout are Eliza Hachem, Skip Squint and Winston Howard.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Khan. Khan has a takedown stuffed. Song looks to clinch and Khan counters with a takedown into full mount! That could mean trouble for Song! Khan working for a submission but Song is keeping him at bay. Khan landing shots from mount. Song can't escape the position.
Khan wants to control the pace but Song is squirming around nicely. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Song really trying hard to get back to half guard here.
Khan controlling from the full mount. Song has given up his back here. Will Khan look for the submission or keep pounding away?
That's one minute gone in the round. Song is taking damage to the body and head. Khan is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Song has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Khan looking for the choke but no joy. Song breaks Khan's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Khan has a closed guard, preventing Song from standing up. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
That's two minutes gone in the round. Song avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
Khan lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Song! Khan is going oldschool here, as he tries to force Song to tap using a forearm choke. This isn't 1993 though, so Song shrugs it off. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Song looking to escape from mount but he's given up his back! Song showing good submission defense here.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Song wants to escape the position.
Song trying to get back to his feet but Khan is in full control for now. Khan looking for the choke but no joy. Khan looking for the choke from the back. Khan has good solid back control here. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Khan is throwing strikes from the back here. Oh that last one was to the back of the head. Khan gets a warning from the referee. He throws another strike to the back of the head straight away though and the referee has seen enough. He breaks up the two fighters and stands them back up. Khan gets a real talking to here and is lucky not to get a point deducted. Khan apologises and we restart here on the feet.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Song wants to clinch but Khan slips to the side and Khan counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. Khan slips a nice elbow through Song's hands, connecting with Song's forehead. Khan is looking for an arm triangle, whilst trying to pass to side control. Song doesn't seem that keen to cooperate though. No luck this time Khan. Song is looking to regain full guard. Not this time though. Khan is working for submissions here but there's nothing on.
The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Khan trying to control from half guard but Song is working away. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Amir Khan dominated that round. That's time! Back to the action!
Song tries to clinch but Khan moves out of range. Song dives in and scores a takedown into Khan's guard. Song drops back looking for a heel hook - he quickly realises he's not going to get it but Khan manages to dive on top of him before he can escape and now Song has Khan in his guard. Khan thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position. Khan trying to control the position from guard on top but Song is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Khan throws a big right hand that misses.
That's one minute gone in the round. Khan wants to control from the top but Song keeps moving. Song preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Song tries to land a sweep but no joy. Song wants to get back to his feet but Khan is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Amir Khan has got the better of the ground game so far. Khan trying to control but Song is working from the bottom.
The ref calls for a clean break and stands the fighters back up. Amir Khan wasn't active enough on the ground. Khan shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Song defends it nicely. Song looking for a takedown here - he's got it.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Song wants to stand and escape but instead Khan has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard. Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Khan is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Song trying to strike off his back.
Khan postures up and lands a big shot to Song's brow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Khan is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Khan wants to control from the top but Song keeps moving.
That's three minutes gone in the round. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup.
Amir Khan has forced the referee to step in and restart the fight on the feet. Song looks for a takedown. He's got it. We're now in half guard. Khan slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Khan manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Song manages to get himself to full guard.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Khan drops back looking for a leg! Song is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Song manages to kick Khan off! Khan jumps back into Song's guard.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Khan is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Song is looking to stand up but Khan isn't so interested in that idea. Song is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Khan trying to control but Song is working from the bottom. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Khan sitting in guard here, content to control. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close second round but Amir Khan will probably get the nod - 10:9. The fighters' corners scream their final instructions, as the referee calls time. Here we go, back to the action! Let's hear some noise people - this is the final round!

That's one minute gone in the round. Khan gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Song throws a head kick that misses. Khan misses with a takedown attempt - Song sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. Song is looking to clinch but Khan is avoiding it.
Song tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. Khan changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Song tries to avoid it but Khan manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Song to the ground. Song escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Kang Ho Song is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Song fakes an overhand right and shoots for a takedown. Khan sprawls well initially but Song persists and gets the takedown into half guard. Khan manages to get to full guard.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Khan wants to control but instead he gets his guard passed and Song is now in half guard. Song throwing shots but Khan is blocking nicely. Khan slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Song wants to stand but Khan is controlling his posture from full guard. Both fighters are breathing heavily. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Khan keeping full guard, as Song tries to pass. Song is looking to stand up but Khan won't let him. Khan has been the more effective fighter overall so far. Khan wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now. Amir Khan is fighting for a decision - hopefully he's judged it right and he's actually winning the fight. Song is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Khan has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Song is looking to defend but Khan has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Song! Khan pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Song taps out and this one is all over!
