Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Mike Anus (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Meas Chanta (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Anus kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Nick Diaz Rap Song. Chanta is bobbing his head along to his entrance song: get up-50 cent. The fight MMA fans around the world have waited their entire lives for!

And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Saam Ante, Aafke Stam and Radbod Blank.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Chanta moves in looking to clinch but Anus pushes him off.
Anus avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Anus tries to score a power double leg takedown but Chanta sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Anus somewhat.
Anus circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Anus shoots in but no luck this time.
Anus shoots for a takedown but Chanta saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily.

Anus throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Chanta's waist but Chanta gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Anus off to one side.

Chanta throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Anus blocks it with crossed arms.

You can see the frustration on Chanta's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Meas Chanta dominated that round.
The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.
Chanta doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Anus lands with a shot to the body.
Chanta tries to close the distance and clinch but Anus swats him to one side with an open hand palm strike and circles away.
Chanta moves forwards but Anus connects with a nice, crisp jab.
Mike Anus seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Anus shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Chanta but Chanta pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Chanta misses with a head kick.

Anus scores with a reasonable looking shot to the body. Chanta doesn't seem bothered though.
Anus throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Chanta sees it coming and avoids it easily.
Chanta tries to grapple but his opponent circles
and Chanta takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles.
Chanta wants to clinch but Anus slips to the side
and Anus counters with a nice double leg into guard.

Anus sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Chanta's guard.

We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Anus lands with an elbow from half guard - that looked like it hurt.
Anus prevents Chanta from improving his position.
Anus has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission.

The fighters are trapped in the ropes so we're going to have a reposition here. The ref calls for a break and repositions the fighters in the center of the ring.

Chanta wants to sweep here but Anus controlling him for the moment.
Anus wants to control from the top but Chanta keeps moving.
Mike Anus overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Anus is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Chanta is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.
We're going to have a standup here because Mike Anus wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.
A combination from Anus does no damage.
Chanta tries to clinch but fails miserably
and Anus counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body.

Horrible takedown by Anus or perhaps it was just good defense by Chanta which made him look bad.

As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Anus goes for a takedown attempt but Chanta pushes him away and we're back to fighting at a distance.

Anus changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Chanta looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better.

Chanta might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Anus kaven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time.
Chanta is bucking up trying to escape but Anus cracks him with another couple of good strikes.
