11 - 9 - 0, fighting out of St Petersburg, BeeJay Penn! The judges for this bout are Konstantin Menshow, Sergei Dronov and Viktor Lagutenko.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Penn misses with a leg kick. Penn throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Penn misses with the combination.
Kazuhide circles away from the clinch attempt.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kazuhide uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Penn.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn doesn't manage to clinch there - Kazuhide circles away.
The crowd cheers as Penn lands an impressive looking overhand right. Kazuhide doesn't seem phased though. Penn throws an off balance right hand
so Kazuhide counters with a double leg into guard. Good agility. Kazuhide throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Penn works some decent striking defense from the bottom. Kazuhide wants to control from the top but Penn keeps moving. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kazuhide controlling from the top position.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Penn wants to stand and escape but Kazuhide is having none of it. Penn keeping moving, preventing Kazuhide from controlling successfully. Kazuhide loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! That's four minutes gone in the round. Kazuhide pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Penn is keeping the position for now. Kazuhide missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Kazuhide trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Kazuhide working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. Kazuhide loading up with the ground and pound but he's missing more than he's landing in this flurry. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Kazuhide with a flurry of punches that miss. Kazuhide postures up in Penn's guard and throws a big left but Penn blocks it. Penn throws a right hand that Kazuhide ducks under and follows up with a left that Kazuhide also avoids with ease. Kazuhide closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Penn is trying to get back to his feet. Penn throws Kazuhide to one side and escapes! Kazuhide fails miserably with a takedown attempt. Kazuhide shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Penn's guard.
That's one minute gone in the round. Penn wants to stand but Kazuhide is controlling the position. Penn keeping moving, preventing Kazuhide from controlling successfully. Penn is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Kazuhide prevents a body shot from Penn. Penn is working hard here but doesn't seem to be able to control effectively, up against the cage. Kazuhide wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Penn keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Kazuhide's efforts to push away. The fighters are starting to get sweaty, which will make takedowns a bit more tricky. Kazuhide has had enough of the clinch but Penn keeps him there for the moment. Penn misses with a hook to the ribs.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Kazuhide wants to break the clinch but can't.
Kazuhide tries to score a body lock takedown but Penn shows good agility there to stay on his feet. A real battle for position is taking place between these two warriors. Penn struggles to land a body shot inside as Kazuhide controls his hands.
Penn tries to work over Kazuhide's body with a swooping hook but it only glances the target. Penn swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Penn is trying to stall.
Kazuhide has hold of a leg and is looking for a trip takedown. Penn avoids it nicely though and we remain in the clinch. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Miyoshi Kazuhide. That's going to take a lot out of him.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Penn misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Kazuhide wants to break free. God knows he wants to breaaaak freeee. Penn misses with a hook to the ribs.
Penn goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Kazuhide is trying to work out of this bad position, with his back against the cage. Penn is trying to maintain a safe position but Kazuhide gets an underhook and turns Penn into the cage. Penn can't find room to land a body shot as Kazuhide controls the action.
Kazuhide wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Penn has him pressed against the cage. Penn prevents Kazuhide from breaking the clinch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close second round but I would say that Miyoshi Kazuhide will probably get the nod. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! This is the final round!

Penn throws a jab when Kazuhide was well out of range. Horrible takedown by Kazuhide or perhaps it was just good defense by Penn which made him look bad. Penn blocks a jab.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Penn uses good head movement to avoid the hook from Kazuhide. Penn doesn't manage to clinch there - Kazuhide circles away.
Penn misses with an uppercut. BeeJay Penn has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Penn misses with a jab, cross combination.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless. Penn moves into range and throws a lovely three punch combination. A telegraphed right hand from Penn misses the target. Kazuhide doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
And that's the end of the fight! BeeJay Penn comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. I think Kazuhide has won this one but let's see what the judges have to say. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
