Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the middleweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

The judges for this bout are Viktor Lagutenko, Illya Tyunina and Ivan Kurochkin.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Mezin tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Spyridon tries to keep at a distance but Mezin has taken the fight into the clinch.
Mezin using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Spyridon has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.
Spyridon tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Mezin smiles and moves away.
A telegraphed takedown attempt from Spyridon is defended easily by Mezin.
Spyridon throws a right and a left that both miss.
Mezin has taken the fight to the clinch.
Mezin's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Mezin forces Spyridon back against the cage and clinches.
Mezin prevents Spyridon from breaking the clinch.
Mezin pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat.
That's one minute gone in the round.
Spyridon gets tackled into the cage by Mezin. Mezin maintains the clinch.
Mezin escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Spyridon closes the distance and scores a nice trip takedown into half guard. Mezin did well to prevent Spyridon getting side control.
We may be looking at a referee standup if the pace doesn't pick up soon.
Spyridon is looking to take a break and control but Mezin is keeping him honest, looking to work from the bottom.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Spyridon is working for a submission here. He's got hold of the far side arm and he's looking for a kimura. He's cranking on the arm and he's got it! Mezin is tapping out! Ouch, that looked like it hurt!
