Coming up we have a welterweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Sabrol (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and DeAndre Tyson (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Sabrol kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genuis that is Snap Your Fingers Snap Your Neck. Tyson has chosen Slam as his entrance music. DeAndre Tyson has the better chin. Will he look to stand and bang today?

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the welterweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
2 - 1 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, Ricardo Sabrol! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
2 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, DeAndre Tyson! The judges for this bout are Daniel Cesar, Leandro Rodrigues and Paulo Santos.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Sabrol. Tyson closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Tyson lands in his opponent's guard. Sabrol is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

Tyson drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Tyson jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Tyson thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.
That's one minute gone in the round. Tyson drops back looking for a leg! Sabrol is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and Sabrol manages to kick Tyson off! Tyson jumps back into Sabrol's guard. Sabrol lands a beautiful switch and he's in full mount! That could spell trouble for Tyson! Sabrol looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead. Tyson keeping his composure momentarily, calmly looking to get back to half guard.
Sabrol jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Tyson manages to avoid the submission attempt. You can see the frustration on Tyson's face, being in this tough position on the bottom.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Tyson tries to buck Sabrol off but Sabrol is having none of it. Sabrol tries to advance to mount but can't. Sabrol throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Tyson works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. Tyson has a hand on Sabrol's thigh, trying to get back to full guard. Sabrol takes advantage of the position though and mounts him! We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Sabrol can do anything to dispel that myth. Sabrol working for a submission but Tyson is keeping him at bay. Sabrol manages to capitalize on a mistake by Tyson to take his back! Tyson really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Sabrol. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Tyson is displaying good submission defense - not really looking in danger of submitting to the rear naked choke at the moment. That could change in an instant of course if Sabrol gets his way!
Sabrol is looking to finish the fight by rear naked choke. Tyson knows exactly what he's got planned though, so he's defending well. Maybe a few strikes would soften Tyson for a finish.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Tyson tries to roll but Sabrol sticks to his back.
Sabrol gets his hands free as Tyson looks to control. Sabrol struggling to keep hold of the position.
Tyson trying to control the hands but Sabrol won't let him. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sabrol is working for the rear naked choke. He has one arm under the chin but Tyson has hold of the other arm. A bit of a stalemate here. Sabrol throwing sloppy strikes. Tyson trying to control the action but Sabrol just sinks the hooks in. A lull in the action here.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight. Sabrol throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. Will Sabrol go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Tyson wants to control his opponent's hands but Sabrol gets his hands free. Tyson breaks Sabrol's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.
Sabrol doesn't do any damage with a couple of strikes from the bottom.
The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Sabrol gets caught flat footed, as Tyson shoots in with a quick takedown into guard. Sabrol is looking for a triangle but Tyson pushes his legs off easily.

Sabrol has thrown up a leg looking for a triangle. Tyson doesn't defend quickly enough and Sabrol has managed to lock this one up! Can Tyson escape?! NO! He's tapping out! Damn, that was a quick submission - congrats to Sabrol on a fantastic submission victory.
