Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of
0 - 2 - 0, fighting out of London, Bill hardas!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Henry Iron!
The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Ackerman and James Glass.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Iron has managed to clinch.
Iron is working for takedown but hardas is calmly controlling the position for now.
Iron prevents a body shot from hardas.
hardas tries to pull guard but Iron holds him up against the cage and eventually hardas drops back down to his feet.
hardas is pressed up against the cage. Iron has hold of a leg and is looking to drag hardas down to the mat. hardas avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance.
hardas shoots in for a takedown and gets it. Oh and he's advanced to full mount straight away.
hardas trying to control but he's not successful this time.
hardas goes for an armbar but he's fallen flat on his backside there and now Iron is on top in guard.
hardas pulls Iron in close to his closed guard and prevents Iron from doing any damage or advancing position.

hardas is really struggling to control Iron but he's trying to hold on to the position.

Well. There's a bit of a lull in the action here and the crowd are starting to get restless.
Iron is pushing down on hardas's leg trying to pass to half guard. hardas is fighting to maintain full guard but Iron has managed to sneak the leg through.
hardas manages to get to full guard.
hardas is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
hardas is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Iron is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him.

Iron wants to control from the top but hardas keeps moving.
hardas wants to get back to his feet but Iron is in a dominant position and won't allow it.
Iron sitting in guard, not really doing much.
Iron avoids a guillotine attempt easily.
hardas is breathing heavily.
hardas looking to hit a scissor sweep but Iron is one step ahead there.

My god... these two guys really need to pick up the pace or everyone will leave to go get a beer.
It looks like we're going to have a standup here. Neither fight is doing enough on the ground.
hardas looks for a takedown but Iron sprawls well.
hardas shoots in and drives through. Iron sprawls well.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bill hardas. That's going to take a lot out of him.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
hardas circles away from the clinch attempt.
Iron blocks a head kick by hardas.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Bill hardas will probably get the nod.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

hardas throws a right and a left that Iron avoids nicely.
Iron shoots in for a takedown! He's got it and he's managed to land in full mount! That's better than Iron was expecting from the takedown attempt, I'm sure!
Iron tucks in and makes sure he doesn't lose the dominant position.
Iron seems to be looking to move to his opponent's back but hardas is holding on tight.
hardas is looking to get to half guard.
Iron controlling the position easily from mount.
Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here.

hardas tries to hold on but Iron postures up.
hardas tries to get back to half guard but can't.
Iron controlling from the full mount.

Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it.
hardas is working to get back to half guard.
Iron sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment.
Iron looking to finish hardas with some ground and pound. This is bad for hardas!

Iron prevents hardas from getting the reversal.

Iron takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though.
Despite being in the dominant position, Henry Iron just isn't active enough and the referee decides to stand the fighters back up.

The crowd are hurling abuse towards the fighters... You can hardly blame them though because there isn't a lot going on in the fight.
hardas has his takedown stuffed
and Iron counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Iron.

Iron content to sit in guard, stalling... Great. Oh but he could get punished here because hardas has locked up a guillotine! hardas's face is contorted as he sqeezes tight on the submission attempt - will he finish? Iron is holding on here and hardas must be using up a lot of energy. Iron has gone limp! He's out! He's out cold! hardas gets to his feet, tossing aside his stricken foe. Arms raised, he milks the applause from the crowd. Great submission!
