Coming up we have a bantamweight MMA rules bout between Beau Oxer (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Willy Wonder (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Oxer kept the crowd waiting but all that was forgotten when his ring entrance music started. The incomparable musical genius that is Pretender - Foo fighters. Wonder has chosen Nine Inch Nails The Perfect Drug as his entrance music. The key to victory for Beau Oxer has got to be keeping the fight on the feet.

The judges for this bout are Daniel Blasius, Radbod Blank and Paul Aken.

The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Oxer throws an off balance right hand

and Wonder counters with a single leg into guard. Oxer didn't expect that.
Wonder working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage.

Wonder postures up as if he's going to throw some strikes but drops back for an ankle! Oxer is in big trouble! He looks ready to tap! But no, he's escaped and dives on top of Wonder, into his guard.

There's a bit of a scramble here and now Wonder is on top in guard.

A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd.
Wonder stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Oxer swivels though and keeps the full guard.
Oxer wants to stand up but Wonder is controlling him.
Wonder in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time.
Wonder wants to get up but he can't break Oxer's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here.
Wonder slows down the pace of the fight, as he sits in guard.

Wonder drops back, looking for a kneebar! Oxer looks panicked! The fighters roll across the mat, one looking to finish, one looking to escape. Oxer looks to have wriggled free... Yes, he's got his leg free and he's dived into side control! Good work there from Oxer!
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Wonder can do anything to dispel that myth.

Wonder is trying to get back to half guard. He's pushing on Oxer's leg. He's managed it. Nice work.
Wonder tries to roll over but Oxer keeps him under control.

The crowd are starting to boo a lack of action.

Willy Wonder dominated that round.
The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business.

Oxer swings and misses with a hook to the body.
Wonder looks to score with a combo but nothing lands.
Oxer avoids a low kick by using good footwork.
Oxer punishes Wonder's body with a nice straight punch.
Wonder changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Oxer tries to avoid it but Wonder manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Oxer to the ground. Oxer escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
Willy Wonder is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things.

Wonder throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Oxer's waist but Oxer gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Wonder off to one side.
Oxer throws a jab to the body, straight down the pipe. Boom. That sent Wonder stumbling backwards but he manages to regain his composure quickly.

Beau Oxer seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Wonder takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily.
Wonder throws a combination but it was largely blocked by Oxer.

Oxer throws a hook to the side of Wonder's head but Wonder sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully.
Oxer looks to land a combination but Wonder avoids it well.
The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end.

Oxer's jab looks to have found its range, popping Wonder under the eye.
