Coming up we have a middleweight MMA rules bout between William Joseph (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Archer Christian (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Joseph comes to the cage accompanied by TEARS FOR FEARS - SHOUT. Well, the cameraman is lingering on a pretty young lady for a bit too long there. Keep your eyes on the fighters buddy or you'll miss the fighter intros!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world! Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
11 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, William Joseph! And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
9 - 5 - 0, fighting out of London, Archer Christian! The judges for this bout are Steven Brown, James Atkins and Richard Clark.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Joseph drives through with a takedown into Christian's guard. Let's see what he can do from the top position. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. Joseph won't allow Christian to get back to his feet. Joseph sitting in guard, not really doing much. Christian is controlling Joseph's posture. Joseph trying to control the position from guard on top but Christian is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Well, the referee has seen enough. Neither fighter is active enough on the ground so he's stood them back up. Sloppy strikes from Christian. Those never looked like landing. Christian throws a wild combination but nothing lands. A telegraphed right hand from Joseph misses the target.
That's one minute gone in the round. Christian throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Christian connects with a crisp jab. Joseph misses with a straight right. Good standup being displayed there by Christian as he connects with a hook. Christian's corner calls for a 1-2. Christian obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Joseph misses with a kick to the body.
Christian ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Joseph moves away. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Christian misses with a hook. Joseph ducked under it nicely. Christian throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Joseph sees it coming and avoids it easily. Christian throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Christian is using his reach advantage to land shots from outside his opponent's range. Christian bobs and weaves and throws out a fast jab that snaps Joseph's head backwards. Christian doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body. Joseph lands a leg kick that knocks Christian off balance momentarily. Joseph shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Christian as he avoids it easily. Christian throws a lazy right hand but Joseph sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Joseph defending well as Christian loads up on a big left hand. Joseph is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Christian's half guard. Joseph is stalling here. Christian is in no mood to hang around though. He's locked up a kimura from the bottom! Joseph seems to be keeping calm but he's forced to roll out of the hold and Christian has ended up in side control on the top. Nice work. Joseph takes an elbow right on the bridge of the nose and winces in pain.
Joseph might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Christian decides to stand up, so the ref orders Joseph to his feet. Christian throws the left hand but Joseph avoids the punch easily. Christian uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Joseph. Christian misses the shot to the body.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joseph lands a jab to the nose. Joseph steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Christian. Christian paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Christian misses with a two punch combination.
Christian dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Joseph. That did some damage! Christian defending well as Joseph loads up on a big left hand. Christian scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Joseph is breathing heavily. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Christian moves into range and connects with a jab. Christian scores with a hook to the body. Joseph takes a step back and tries to catch his breath. Christian blocks a jab. Joseph takes a big uppercut there. He seems a bit wobbly but no, he's OK.
Christian lands with a nice combination. Joseph backs away looking to recover. Christian keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Joseph tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Christian is able to avoid easily. Christian connects with a nice looking jab.
Christian rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Joseph moves out of range and avoids them all easily. The crowd are going absolutely nuts as the round comes to an end - what a fantastic round of action! Joseph ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Christian tests Joseph's chin there with a solid looking shot. A nice combination there by Christian.

Archer Christian dominated that round. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action.

Christian looks to land a combination but Joseph avoids it well. Joseph shoots in and bounces Christian off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Joseph passes Christian's right leg, so he's now in half guard. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Joseph trying to control the pace.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Joseph trying to control from Christian's half guard. Christian has other ideas though and has regained full guard. Joseph controlling from the guard. I say controlling but really, he's stalling. Christian wants to control here, rather than go for any submissions from the bottom. At least for now.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Joseph postures up in Christian's guard and throws a big left but Christian blocks it. Christian keeping moving, preventing Joseph from controlling successfully.
The ref stands the fighters back up. William Joseph wasn't doing enough on the ground. Joseph takes an uppercut right on the jaw but it doesn't phase him.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Joseph has his head snapped back a nice jab. A little nod from Joseph there as he acknowledges the shot. Christian throws a leg kick which misses Joseph's front leg but catches the back leg as Joseph tries to avoid it. Christian walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Christian just misses with a punch to the body.
Archer Christian seems to be getting the better of the standup. Christian misses with a looping left. Nice body punch from Christian. Joseph thows a body shot but no joy. Christian avoids the head kick by Joseph.

Both fighters are absolutely exhausted here. Christian misses the shot to the body. Joseph shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Christian as he avoids it easily.
That's four minutes gone in the round. Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Christian lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Joseph has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Joseph and we're back underway with a touch of gloves. A combination from Christian does no damage. Christian cracks Joseph with a right hand to the side of the head. Joseph staying out of range there. Christian avoids the clinch attempt nicely.
Christian wants to slow Joseph down by chopping away at his legs. Christian scores with a nice one two combo and darts back out of range to avoid anything coming in the opposite direction. Joseph misses with a takedown attempt. He shot from a bit too far out. Christian throws a series of punches but Joseph moves out of range. Archer Christian showed his class in that round. I'd imagine he'll take it on all the scorecards. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

Joseph is working for takedown but Christian is calmly controlling the position for now. Some stalling of biblical proportions here from Christian. Christian blocks a punch to the side of the head.

Still in the clinch, Christian scores with a nice short uppercut. A battle for position here, against the cage. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Christian wants to push off and get back to the center of the mat but Joseph has him pressed against the cage.

Christian follows up with another monster hook that separates Joseph from consciousness! Joseph falls, almost in slow motion to the canvas! Christian stands and admires his work as the crowd go wild.
