Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 5 rounds, for the middleweight championship of the world!
Introducing the champion to my left, fighting out of the red corner.

13 - 3 - 0, fighting out of Los Angeles, Sub Zero!
And introducing the challenger to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.

18 - 7 - 1, fighting out of Los Angeles, Jack Withrow!
The judges for this bout are Frank Antenori, Jack Bonds and Timothy Bukovac.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Zero attempts a low kick but it misses it's target.
Zero feints and as Withrow raises his hands in defense, Zero changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard.
Withrow controls Zero momentarily but Zero frees himself.
Zero pushing down on Withrow's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work.
Zero landing with strikes to the body and head, softening up his opponent.
Zero is nestled in close to Withrow, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure.
Zero has freed up his trapped foot and advances to mount.
Withrow wriggling around on the bottom manages to avoid the strikes thrown by Zero.
Zero in mount throwing good strikes here, bouncing his opponent's head off the canvas.

Zero shoots in looking for a takedown. Withrow tries to sprawl out of it but Zero keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Withrow manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
Zero dives in and grabs Withrow's left leg, looking for a takedown. Withrow pushes down on Zero's head and hops out.
Withrow defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Zero.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Sub Zero. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Withrow throws the kick towards the body but Zero avoids it.
Withrow throws a sloppy head kick and Zero moves out of range easily.
Withrow tries a switch kick but it misses it's target.
Zero avoids the body shot from Withrow.

and Zero counters with a leg kick that reverborates around the arena.
Zero shoots in and drives through. Withrow sprawls well.
Zero lands a leg kick. The shin dug right into the meat of the thigh.

Zero does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy.
Zero scores a takedown into full mount!
Zero is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Withrow can do to turn this around?
Withrow avoids a series of strikes thrown by Zero.
Zero unloads with some shots from mount but Withrow bucks and avoids them well.

Zero throws some wild stikes that Withrow manages to avoid easily.
Zero swings around for an armbar but it's a sloppy attempt and Withrow is now in Zero's guard. A big mistake from Zero there, giving up the dominant position!
Zero wants to sweep here but Withrow controlling him for the moment.
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.
Zero is working for submissions here. He's thrown up his legs looking for a triangle but Withrow frees his head nicely. Oh but Zero has switched to an armbar! Withrow is tapping furiously! Lovely submission there!
