Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Steve Bosse (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Adam Wiggins (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). The atmosphere really building for this one as we go over to our ring announcer for the fighter introductions!

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 1 - 0 - 0, fighting out of Montreal, Steve Bosse!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 1 - 1 - 1, fighting out of Montreal, Adam Wiggins!
The judges for this bout are Robert Douchet, Gregory Folan and Yves DeLean.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!

Bosse shoots in and bounces Wiggins off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.
Bosse controls the pace of the fight for a moment.

Bosse gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent.

Bosse feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Wiggins really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Bosse. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so!

Bosse has control of Wiggins's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Wiggins regains control of the situation pretty easily.

Wiggins gets caught flat footed, as Bosse shoots in with a quick takedown into guard.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Bosse seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Wiggins for as long as he can get away with.

We're going to have a standup here because Steve Bosse wasn't active enough for the referee's liking.

Bosse is looking for a takedown here. He's shot in and has managed to get it, finishing up in Wiggins's half guard.

Nice takedown defense from Wiggins. No joy for Bosse on that attempt.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Steve Bosse. That's going to take a lot out of him.

Bosse shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Wiggins manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage.
