Coming up we have a light heavyweight MMA rules bout between Ricardo Jones (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Johannes Komokallio (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Johannes Komokallio is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the light heavyweight division. Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner. With a record of
0 - 0 - 0, fighting out of London, Ricardo Jones! And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner. With a record of
3 - 1 - 0, fighting out of London, Johannes Komokallio! The judges for this bout are Chris Edwards, James Glass and William Gold.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Jones fails in his attempt to clinch. Komokallio takes a punch right to his stomach. That took the wind out of him momentarily. Komokallio fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt. Jones lands a jab to Komokallio's midsection. Jones wants to clinch up but Komokallio keeps it at a distance. Komokallio gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Komokallio lands a body shot. Komokallio is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Jones can't fight it off and eventually Komokallio manages to take the fight to the floor. Jones looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Komokallio is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Jones has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Komokallio can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Jones working a defensive guard here.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Jones is really struggling to control Komokallio but he's trying to hold on to the position. Komokallio must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu.
That's one minute gone in the round. Jones looking for submissions off his back, moving his hips, looking for an opening.
Jones throws his legs up looking for a submission but Komokallio uses it to pass to side control.
Komokallio cracks Jones with an elbow. That is naaassty. Jones tries to improve position but can't. Komokallio remains in side control and seems content to stay there. It's a versatile position from which he can work both strikes and submissions, whilst maintaining that control, so maybe he'll sit here for a while. Jones tries to buck Komokallio off but Komokallio is having none of it. Jones is breathing heavily. Komokallio tries for a kimura. Not really close to a finish though. Jones is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Komokallio working the ground and pound.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Jones tries to control the position but he's not in luck - Komokallio easily slips into full mount! Jones tries to reverse the position but Komokallio maintains control. Komokallio controlling from mount. Komokallio has control of Jones's right arm, working for a kimura. It's a bit of a token attempt though and Jones regains control of the situation pretty easily.
Komokallio dominating with strikes here. Komokallio is in the full mount, landing strikes. Komokallio is landing with some decent strikes but Jones is trying to advance his position so the referee is letting the fight continue. Komokallio sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. Jones tries to buck Komokallio off but he can't manage it. Jones tries to hold on but Komokallio postures up.
That's three minutes gone in the round. Komokallio prevents Jones from getting the reversal. Komokallio controlling from the full mount. Jones is looking to get to half guard. Jones is writhing around trying to get back to his feet. Jones is looking to get to half guard. Komokallio unloading with bombs! Jones is desperately trying to improve his position but Komokallio has a good base and remains in mount. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Komokallio jumps to side control looking for an arm triangle but Jones manages to avoid the submission attempt.
That's four minutes gone in the round. The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Jones is looking to reverse the position. Jones manages to get one leg in to regain half guard. Komokallio drops an elbow to the side of Jones's head. Jones is looking to improve his position.
Komokallio wants to pass the guard but Jones is defending well. Komokallio is keen to just control but Jones is a slippery customer. Jones looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Komokallio really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Jones. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Komokallio content to control rather than advance. The two fighters exchange a few words. I couldn't hear what they were saying but maybe it's more fun if you make it up yourself. Komokallio connects with a nice short shot to Jones's temple. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Johannes Komokallio dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action!
Komokallio shoots in from a long way out. He's driving through with the takedown attempt and he eventually gets it, landing in Jones's guard. Jones looking to control.
Komokallio is sitting in close to Jones's body. Jones has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Komokallio is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Komokallio is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Jones.
