Coming up we have a featherweight MMA rules bout between Giwa Sovan (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class) and Ivan Drewnski (ranked 0 p4p, 0 weight class). Drewnski has chosen MOSKAU-RAMMSTEIN as his entrance music, which hasn't gone down very well with the crowd. Ivan Drewnski is the more experienced fighter, so let's see if that makes a difference tonight.

4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Ivan Drewnski! The judges for this bout are Gwen Towbar, Stewart Dunkirk and Robert Twigg.
The bell rings for round one and we are underway! Drewnski misses with a head kick.
Sovan misses with a takedown and Drewnski counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Sovan thinking. No joy there for Drewnski, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
Sovan tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in the close the distance. Drewnski manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Sovan fails to land the takedown. Sovan shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Drewnski counters with a three punch combo that has Sovan backing up. Sovan nods at Drewnski to acknowledge the strikes. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sovan avoids a kick to the body.

Drewnski throws a right and a left that both miss. Sovan shoots in looking for a takedown but Drewnski manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sovan's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Sovan fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Drewnski avoids it really well and circles away. Drewnski lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sovan circles away quickly and effectively. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Sovan misses with a takedown and Drewnski counters with a nice uppercut. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.

Sovan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. Sovan connects with a couple of short punches. Drewnski utilising some decent striking defenses from the guard, preventing the ground and pound. Drewnski is looking to stand up but Sovan isn't so interested in that idea. Sovan jumps back into Drewnski's guard. Sovan throws a big elbow that misses. Sovan wants to control from the top but Drewnski keeps moving. Sovan is working Drewnski over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Sovan passes into half guard. As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action. Drewnski looks like he's trying to stand up.

Drewnski manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Drewnski throws a series of punches but Sovan avoids them all with ease. Sovan looks like he's developed a pretty tasty lump over his left eye. He'll need to avoid taking much more damage to that. Drewnski throws a series of punches but Sovan avoids them all with ease. That's four minutes gone in the round. Sovan fakes a strike and closes the distance, dragging Drewnski to the ground. Sovan is now in Drewnski's guard. Drewnski wants to stand and escape but Sovan is having none of it. Sovan is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Sovan trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat. Drewnski is looking to stand up but Sovan isn't so interested in that idea. Sovan content to strike from guard, landing some decent shots. Sovan trying to control but Drewnski is working from the bottom. Sovan lands a couple of decent looking shots. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Drewnski can do anything to dispel that myth. The crowd applaud the fighters efforts here as the round comes to an end. Sovan lands a nice shot whilst sitting in his opponent's guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Drewnski is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Sovan is controlling him.
And that's the end of the fight! I would just about give that final round to Ivan Drewnski. I think Drewnski has won this one but let's see whether the judges agree with me. Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.
