Ladies and gentlemen. This fight is 3 rounds, in the lightweight division.
Introducing the fighter to my left, fighting out of the red corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Air Canada!
And introducing the fighter to my right, fighting out of the blue corner.
With a record of 4 - 2 - 0, fighting out of Las Vegas, Clams Casino!
The judges for this bout are George Francis, Chris Downing and Stewart Dunkirk.




The bell rings for round one and we are underway!
Nice straight punches there by Casino. You know Roy Jones Jr respects the hands of Casino.
Canada keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Casino swings wildly with a hook that is half blocked by Canada.
Casino waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Canada.
Canada shoots in for a takedown - he's clinched up with Casino but Casino pushes him off and we're back to square one.
Casino misses with a telegraphed body shot

and Canada counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.
The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup.

Canada thinks about going for a leg but decides against it, in order to maintain the position.

Canada drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Canada jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position.
Casino is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.
We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Casino can do anything to dispel that myth.

Canada works his foot free and advances to mount.
Canada looking to control but Casino is working nicely, looking to advance position himself.
Canada throws some wild stikes that Casino manages to avoid easily.
Casino tries to hold on but Canada postures up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Casino is looking to get to half guard.
Casino takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position.

Canada looks like he's working for a submission but he's not found anything just yet.
Canada is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Casino can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Canada trying to control but he's not successful this time.

Canada looking for an armbar but decides to keep the dominant position instead.
This has been an exciting period of action!
As the round comes to an end the crowd are showing their appreciation for a great round of action.

Canada working for a submission but Casino is keeping him at bay.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Air Canada dominated that round.
That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action.

and Canada counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground.

Canada is holding a leg here, probably looking for an ankle lock - he drops back and goes for it! Casino is in trouble! Is it all over??? No! Casino has escaped and now he's on top!
Canada wants to sweep here but Casino controlling him for the moment.

Casino wants to stand and escape but instead Canada has hit a sweep and he's now on top in guard.

Canada trying to control the position from guard on top but Casino is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
Casino pulls Canada in close to prevent any damage.

Canada throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent.
Air Canada overall seems to be getting the better of the ground position in the fight so far.
Canada slips effortlessly into side control - very nice.

Canada has an Americana. Casino didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Canada is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Canada hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:40 of round 2, we have a winner by way of Submission (Americana). Air Canada!
